We have stayed here before it’s a lovely hotel spotlessly clean and totally modern on the inside. Had a suite last time to give more seating area for travel companions, this time just us and chose a superior room, which again was clean, modern and very comfortable, was able to sit out on the balcony in the sun and watch the world go by.

We wanted to eat dinner in the hotel this time as the breaks was super so much to choose from. We were not disappointed, a small tomato soup which was a huge portion and remained hot til the end. Followed by fresh asparagus we are used to green this was white and even more tender and beautifully presented, this was followed by a selection of meats on a skewer, lamb, pork and several sausages, homemade ratatouille and baked potatoes, the pork was the tenderest ever and the sausage chunks were so tender that they melted in the mouth. This was followed by Mum’s homemade apple pie, which was not a pastry pie as we expected but a light fluffy vanilla rich sponge with fresh apple contained within it. Would we stay again we already have twice so would definitely stay again, would we eat dinner, most definitely and I wonder what the Saturday night Gourmet weekend dinner break is like

Room Tip: Suite for better living space superior room with balcony and partial seaview

We visited Plopsaland De panne with the kids. you have also plopsaqua. It was a nice trip near the Northsea and the hotel was perfect with the family! All comfort that you need for a short trip! Good breakfast. little family business.

Smart hotel in an excellent location just a few minutes from the sea and on the main shopping street in De Panne. Very polite and efficient service on check in and check out, and all staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Our Suite (free upgrade) was comfortable, with all facilities and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of fresh items.
Public parking was difficult (not the fault of the Hotel, but the town seems to have very poor parking arrangements), and the bill was expensive compared to other hotels we have used in Belgium, but we would certainly stay again.

This is our favourite hotel in De Panne, we have stayed here lots of times. The welcome is always friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.
The breakfast is the best I have had in a long time, the eggs with Larson is amazing, cooked to perfection.

Well recommended.

We chose this hotel as it was centrally located in de panne quite expensive for bed and breakfast compared to back home, but as they say you get what you pay for and here was no exception. From the moment we arrived we felt at home being adudressed by name was a surprise check in was probably the easiest ever and it was suggested that we unloade the car befor moving it toa garage offsite. We had 20 mins of free parking just up the rad which was spot on. Ms Meyer gave me a map and directions to the garage and jokingly said see you in the morning, I think she was surprised how quickly I was back, the directions were spot on and the underground garage which was a garage within a garage was really secure and well worth the payment knowing my car would be safe for 3 days and that I wouldn't need to worry about the parking meters or if the car was safe.
As to the rooms we had chosen a junior suite for extra space our friends had gone for the classic room but were upgraded to the premier room slightly bigger and more comfortable.

The junior suite was beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished and I think it is the only hotel room that I have ever stayed in where there was no dust dirt cobwebs or any sort of blemish. This is a credit and seeing there attention to detail each day I am not surprised the hotel is spotless.

Amazingly our room was cleaned and refreshed whilst we were at breakfast which was a nice touch, talking of breakfast here was one of the biggest spreads ever, fresh bread and rolls meats, from the area smoked salmon which melted in the mouth, fried eggs or you could boil your own,a variety of cheeses, preserves honey etc, a selection of pastries, as well as cereals, fruit, fruit juice and yoghurt, a huge range of tea. The fresh coffe was delicious as well. I apologise if I have forgotten anything but as I said breakfast was huge and delicious. Would we stay here again, most definitely.

Room Tip: Go for the suite
