We first visited this restaurant in 2016, where they made us exceedingly welcome after we had been covered in talcum powder at the Shrove Tuesday festival (look on Google for festival details). We went back to visit the village a few days ago, go to the Wednesday market and have lunch at La Rustica, as it had been so good. My wife and I had a lovely 3 course lunch, with bread and a drink included, for about 8 Euros. The food was rustic, hearty and filling - it was also delicious. Again, we were made welcome, the service was first class and the view over the valley is outstanding. The toilets are also good! It is obviously a popular venue with the locals (always a good sign) and the odd tourist had discovered it too. Highly recommended.
