We stayed at sister resort Kahanda Kanda, which provided free tuk-tuks to and from KK Beach. We went to KK Beach twice during our stay, once we spent the afternoon using the facilities (pool, sunloungers etc) and had dinner, and the second time we just went for drinks and dinner. It is a great place, with amazing food (curry buffet was so good) and staff that are brilliant at looking after you. If we return to Sri Lanka we would definitely consider staying here.

My husband and I stayed recently at KK Beach with our 19 year old and 12 year old children in 2 x standard rooms. The hotel has been v stylishly laid out and decorated, rooms are generous, lovely view etc and the hotel felt like a quiet little oasis off the busy road into Galle. It is easy to get into Galle but we were glad to be outside the fort (which might have been quite stifling and airless) and on the beach. We much enjoyed the pool, beach and intimate atmosphere of the hotel but what made the holiday for us was the care of the staff who were friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. The meals were delicious but unfortunately we did not have time to dine at the sister hotel as we were quite busy shuttling into Galle to watch another son's cricket matches.

KK Beach is truly a great Boutique Hotel.

Here we spent the last 5 days of our wonderful stay in Sri Lanka and had a total Chillout after two weeks of sight seeing.

The hotel is located right on the best beach in Habaraduwa.

We had a beautiful room for three days and were due to have an upgrade for the last night of our stay but were surprised to have been offered an extra day in a beautiful suite

All rooms have a lovely view overlooking the pool area and the beach.

The sound of the ocean was a wonderful way to relax in the well maintained garden area, with very comfortable sun loungers and a lovely pool.

We were very well looked after by all the staff overseen by Sanjeeva.

We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we return to Sri Lanka.

Room Tip: All rooms are good with sea views

The first thing to say about this beautiful boutique hotel is I can hardly believe it only opened in December 2016. (we stayed late March for 5 nights). Everything runs like clockwork and is highlighted by the attentive but never obtrusive service overseen by Mr Sanjeeva and his team.

This is a wonderfully friendly, relaxed, yet highly professional operation. The setting is beautiful with spotless gardens and common areas and a gorgeous and tourist free beach through a small gate and down 2 steps. The rooms are fabulously decorated and have lovely little touches that just work - as they do throughout the entire hotel itself. It is very rare that hotels of this quality have such reasonable food and drink tariffs (including mini bar prices) and other so called boutique properties could learn a thing or two in this regard.

Staff constantly topping up glasses with iced water, terrific food and cocktails and hot spiced cashew nuts that have to be the worlds greatest bar snack. Nothing was any trouble and all the team went above and beyond what one could normally expect. We have been to Sri Lanka many times and stayed in numerous high end/5 star hotels. KK Beach blows the competition out of the water and we were genuinely sad to leave. I just hope it isn't fully booked next time we want to visit!

Thanks again to all the team.

Dear Richard

I am genuinely bowled over by your very kind and flattering review of KK Beach - I am indeed most fortunate to have Sanjeewa and his team working there, and given that we have only just opened, the place has truly run like clockwork, since opening day!

Thank you for the very kind comments and we would be delighted to welcome you both back to KK Beach

With very best wishes,
George Cooper

We stayed for five fabulous nights Sturgis new hotel right on the beach. The rolling surf wakes you gently in the morning and breakfast follows by the pool. Amazing. The rooms are incredible with a few little surprises which just keep you saying....wow! The staff and owner work very hard to ensure you have a holiday of a lifetime and it works. Be sure to go and have a look at their sister hotel up in the jungle about 5K inland. Breathtaking!!
