We had a fantastic time. We stayed there for three nights. The room was really large and tidy. Room service was great. Our room was overlooking the ocean with a small rock pool in between. You can sit there and watch the Indian Ocean splashing over the rocks and filling the rock pool and making its way back. It was therapeutic. The sound of the waves was noisy, but also soothing. There was a place near the rock pool where you can sit and relax, watching tiny little sea creatures scurrying along and hide under the rocks. The kids would love it. It made myself young again. It was a small beach jungle. We enjoyed our meals, especially the dinner. The chef even made us a special vegetarian meal on our last night. All the staff were really warm and welcoming, always helped us with a smile. They made our stay very pleasant and memorable. We will book again.

Thank you Thaproban!!!

The service was amazing. Even though they were renovating a few rooms we could hardly tell. They made our stay very comfortable. The food was amazing too! I would definitely recommend staying there. Thanks

Just back from a wonderful 10 day stay at the Thaproban Pavilion. Lovely big room with a fantastic balcony overlooking the pool. Great choice at breakfast and a very good restaurant too. The staff are just fantastic. Smiley, helpful, chatty. They organised a couple of trips for us and nothing was any bother for them at all. Five mins from the beach. Loved it.

The Thaproban Pavilion & Resort is a fantastic place to stay and unwind. The facilities are 1st class, nice large rooms and each has a great balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. The staff are extremely welcoming and most friendly. Special mention to Madusha and Mahinda who were both extremely pleasant and friendly during our stay. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We had a fantastic time here. The setting is absolutely stunning. Got a really good room with the views of the Indian Ocean and pool and was just perfect for sunsets.
Very clean and comfortable.
Buffets were very good with a good spread and good flavor.
Staff were very friendly and took good care of us.
If you are adventurous you can walk/climb on the rocks near the ocean and if lucky get some peacock sightings.
On the downside I would recomend the hotel not to advertise the private beach since it really is something we really looked forward to and it really isnt.
In order to swim in the ocean you need to walk about 10-15 minutes. Also be careful walking around late at night in the surroundings.
All in all a very good experience.

Dear Ashrun,
Thank you for your detailed review. We are pleased to know that you had overall good experience with us, The private beach area is as advertised on our web site and on booking engines, this particular area is picturesque which we are very proud of as this area is only accessible by our guests, yes its about 10 minutes walk to the main beach which is public and our guests have the option to goto our sister hotel Thaproban Beach House to be by the main beach. We do hope to see you again in the future. Thank you.
