We got moved to this hotel without much warning and when we read the recent reviews we were worried. So, starting with what I agree with, generally it's fair to say it's not up to its 4* rating, but in the same way no holiday resort hotels tend to live up to their star rating. It's a bit 70's and the kids club is fairly quiet, but that's where the criticism should finish!!!
There are lots of reasons you'd enjoy the holiday too :-)
The hotel grounds are well kept, the beach is brilliant, the pools are great too (although they are seawater) all of the food and drinks are reasonably priced. The restaurant gives a choice of food which is all really nice in the context that it's a family holiday. It's not like going to a top restaurant in London, but then again I'm in flip flops with the kids, not a suit with suppliers!! If you go here you'll most likely enjoy the food and friendly service.
When we stayed, everyone seemed to be having a great time and there are plenty of good restaurants a short drive away - and there are views of a great piece of coast and a marina. Lastly, the staff were generally very friendly indeed.
Get over yourself and have a great time here!
