We really loved Agriturismo Montalbino - in particular because it was perfect for our nearly 2 year old boy. He loved the farm animals and being able to cook your own meals AND eat at the restaurant gave us the flexibility you want with a young child. Also, with lot's of other people visiting with young kids, this was a perfect holiday for our son.

After a 5 hour car trip from Nice airport with three exhausted kids in the back seats, we were really pleased to have arrived at this beautiful place.

Stunning views of nature, friendly and welcoming staff, clean and comfortable apartment/house and a nice relaxed atmosphere in general.

It was also perfect for our 3 and 5 year old who enjoyed the swimming pool, feeding the animals, playing in the garden, and even got to make their own Italian pizza with guidance from the chef.

We thought we were going to make our own breakfasts at the apartment, but when we tried Annas breakfast at the restaurant, we realized it was too nice too miss. We ended up having breakfast at the restaurant every day.

It was also great to get to know the families who stayed at the other apartments. The farm and restaurant is also used by locals of all ages, enjoying themselves. It was nice to see some of the authentic Italian everyday life.

This was definitely a memorable holiday, with a friendly and personal touch. Highly recommended way of experiencing Tuscany and Italy.

All the best from Norway!

A beautiful farm-stay, hosted by a couple who could not be more helpful. Anna was attentive to every detail, even arranging for morning pancakes (for the kiddos). Spacious cottages, Olive groves, trampoline and playsets, precious farm animals - and delight for adults AND kids. Reasonable driving distance to Florence, San Gimignano, Certaldo (a real treat, thanks for the tip, Anna), Lucca and others. Beautiful breakfast every morning. Again, we can't say enough about Anna's helpfulness. We stayed Mid-March and literally had it to ourselves, but it is so nice it makes you hope there will be other families there to share it with. Thanks again, Anna!

Anna and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Her apartments, are very well furnished, clean, and comfortable. She sells local butter, cheeses, meats, olive oil, wines, and breads in her on-site "market". Her restaurant serves delicious meals, with views of the gorgeous hills. Her location is out in the hills, but easily accessible to nearby towns.
My first trip to Chianti country and Italy. It was memorable for so many reasons, and I would return in a heart beat to Anna and Marco's. Don't pass by this fabulous farm!!

Room Tip: all the apartments are good, i would choose a ground floor.

We could not have found a better holiday apartment in Tuscany for a visit with our 18 month old child. The apartment was spacious, thoughtfully appointed, and easy to childproof. The host, Anna, made sure we had everything we needed and the staff of the restaurant were extremely friendly. It was just as nice to roam around the property and let our child explore the farm, as it was to make a short drive to explore Siena, Certaldo, or San Gimignano. Not only was the food excellent, but having a restaurant on-site gave us a lot of flexibility for planning our day trips around our child's routine. We would love to stay here again!
