A simple trattoria, off the beaten path. We had antipasti, pasta, meat and the dishes were simlpe but tasty and had a home-made quality. Very good value for money.

As we wanted to taste the Italian pizza and a recommended pizzeria was close we had to eat anyway so we found out literally lost in the woods this simple trattoria. The food, typical of Tuscany was very tasty the red wine served in a carafe was satisfying and the lady who served us extremely gentle and capable. Picci pasta, tagliata with rosemary and a plate of brusquetes (3 kinds : with tomato, cheese and pear and vegetables) are my favorites.

It is worth seeking out this place, the staff are charming and he food is really good. And good value ! Most places in the area are either the big 4 course dinner affair or just a pizza. Here you can do either. Best pizzas we have had in Tuscany ( although no pizzas at lunchtime ) highly recommended

We went to Madonnino die Monti for dinner with a group of friends and had a lovely evening on the terrace. We all got something different and everyone enjoyed their choice. The prices were reasonable. The service was good. We will definitely go back.

The good stuff first, reasonable good pizza's, great desserts and one of the few places open until 12 am for pizzas. Regular kitchen shuts at 9:30 pm.
We went there on 21st June at 10 pm and there was a pregnant server who quite terse that the kitchen shuts at 930, funnily the website doesn't mention that.
She then comes to the table with hands on hips and almost pushing us to order and while doing so takes the plastic cup from my 4 yr olds hand and places it back on the table, almost asking him not to play with a plastic cup ! Now really!! She was unhelpful with positions and ordering and finally after ordering our wine she asks us for water, we did carry a bottle from the car (maybe we shouldn't have) but she says why have you carried your water?? We order a bottle from her and she snatches the menu from my hands and storms off. I have had child too and it's not hard to be pregnant if that's your excuse, sit home or get fired because what you deserve !!! Don't be in the hospitality industry because you were not !!! The light eyed slim second server was a delight. Don't go to this establishment because they are downright pathetic !!!
