Family of 4 travelled in October half term , kids aged 14 & 11.
Stayed 5 nights in glorious weather .
The complex is small and beautifully kept , in a very peaceful location a few miles from the lovely town of Caminha . Vilar da Mouros is very quiet but beautiful location .
Grounds are immaculate.
We stayed in a two bed villa , a pod really but very nice and clean , living area is small . Small wooden terrace , kitchen area has two ring hob. Microwave , fridge/ freezer box . TV in one bedroom and living area , some Uk channels .
Resort has indoor pool (cap needs to be worn) with steam and sauna rooms and small gym . Has a lovely outdoor pool . All the staff are excellent and friendly and mostly spoke good English .
Bar was huge (empty every night we were there) with stunning backdrop , low key background music and pool table . Next door to restaurant.
I have reviewed the restaraunt separately but in short is a tad disappointing.
Restaraunt Vilar 5 min walk away is very good .
Overall is a good place as a base to tour this beautiful part of Portugal .
The staff are so nice .
Recommended just eat elsewhere as menu is to limiting .More
