We had a lodge. Our friends had a lodge next door. The check in was seamless with an excellent Receptionist (Amanda). Everything was explained and she could not have been more friendly. We contacted Reception a few times and our queries were answered promptly. All the staff we met, in the Leisure Centre(Steven),the water sports centre and Reception were highly professional, friendly and informative . We will come back.

We booked a 2 night stay at Pine Lake Resort with the Buy a Gift voucher. This was in a Studio and after reading the reviews, we didn't know what to expect. The best description of the studio is like a larger room you would find in a premier inn but better! The kitchen was well equipped and the room comfortable with a table/chair and soft seats as well as a comfortable bed. Great shower too and lots of hot water.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and we ate one night in the restaurant. Again the service was good from the staff.

When we booked the studio, we did ask for a lake view and we weren't disappointed - our studio looked over the lake which was lovely.

Pine Lake Resort is a hidden surprise - such a beautiful layout and so clean! We didn't use the Leisure facilities but they looked great - swimming pool, sauna and a small gym. We are already planning our next visit.

Room Tip: All lodges and studios are well placed but if your are booking a studio, ask for a lake view (Studio...

We have been home now for 12 hours and the thoughts in my mind are still there ,with them.
For 2 nights and days we lived the dream.
Check in staff are superb and it was so easy. We where in our studio and reception phoned to ask if all was to our satisfaction.
Well forget satisfaction we were blown away by the perfection. Very clean , neat and tidy , and what a view of the lake.
Bar and restaurant are excellent , the food is hot and very tasty too, and the beers are good, and entertainment is very reasonable .
The area about is beautiful, and we totally recommend a ride on the speed boat on the lake.
Its a definite book again soon resort even if you simply want to relax.
We are booking in a couple of weeks for sure.

We have visited Pinelakes on many occasions with family and grandchildren, this time we arranged to have friends come and meet us for a few days they were best impressed, the lakeside lodge was as immaculate as ever and the weather made a good week great.
The short walk on a crisp sunny morning for the pre breakfast swim was most refreshing.
As members of Diamond we frequently use the amenities when travelling south or north on the M6 motorway very handy for coffee or breakfast in the restaurant or a quick dip in the pool.

Room Tip: 2 bed are mostly lodges overlooking lake, I have never used 1 bedroom and studios yet.

We have just arrived from a 2night break at Pine Lake!

We cannot fault this place at all, the views, the welcome, the staff, the cleanliness and ambience is great!
We stayed in Lodge Number 30 which had a beautiful lake view, so waking up in the morning was well worth it watching the sun beam onto the lake.
The lodge itself had literally everything we needed throughout our stay. It was very clean and well kept.
We ate in the Lakes Bistro on our first night in, we found that it did not cater for a halal diet however there was minimal choice for veggie options! We enjoyed the margherita pizza and the veggie sharing platter.

We will most definitely come back here again because it was just what we needed to relax and get away from our daily hectic life.
