A very comfortable place with great staff. Food was very good and Kaitlin, the lady who mixed the cocktails, made the best Old Fashioned this side of Manhattan! Would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxed getaway. The surrounding countryside is beautiful.

Lovely hotel. Had a great stay during the snowy weather. Staff all very friendly and helpful and the food and log fire in the bar were top notch. Would have liked some cask ale in the bar, but hey, it’s midweek in January, so there’s probably not much call for that. Would I stay again? Yep, no doubt.
An authentic traditional Scottish Highland retreat. We were welcomed and looked after, fed and watered and had a thoroughly good time. Rooms were spacious, warm and comfortable with plenty of provisions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, offering great advice on nearby places of interest to visit. I would highly recommend this beautiful setting.

Had a wonderful Turkey and Tinsel break at end of November with the 'girls'. Staff very welcoming, good service, reasonable bar prices, lovely public rooms, comfortable beds and good showers. Hotel was kept warm throughout. Food was of high quality and plentiful. Evening entertainment all nights but we enjoyed the lovely lounge area to chat over some drinks. Beautiful area and easy to explore using local buses. Would love to return next year. The hotel whilst quite big has an intimate and friendly ambience. Excellent value.
Looking for a couple of nights accommodation an hour away from Nairn, instead we had three nights “Tartan & Tinsel “, dinner, B and B in the Highlands in early December. What a treat for myself and my neighbour Mike. Everything that two old codgers could want, at a price that is an unbelievable bargain. What we paid for three full days, he thought was a daily price and a bargain at that.
Food was good and breakfast equal to any.
Staff were helpful and attentive. My bed was properly made up every morning, no short cuts taken.
Many guests were regular visitors. I can understand why. Great place and super value.
