This is a jewel of a space- very clean and everything you need is here. The pictures that Doug & Diana has uploaded show the place as it is. While booking we communicated on emails and Doug answered it immediately. We found the place quiet and safe yet close to the harbour & restaurants. Doug & Diana greeted us as soon as we arrived. The provision of milk, coffee, and fruits was a thoughtful and welcome gesture. Doug had suggestions for good hikes along the bruce trail close to light house and also informed us which restaurants are best to dine. From entering the bright hallway of the tastefully decorated house to the delicious breakfast prepared and served by the hosts a most enjoyable experience. Breakfast was served in the dining room and was easily as good as going to a nice hotel for a multi course breakfast. Thanks to Diana for the awesome breakfast, home made bread, jam ,yogurt, cheese omelette with bacon & sausages were heavenly delight. One must visit this place for tasting Diana’s home made cookies and muffins. !! Doug helped us in planning our next day trip to Grotto & suggested us which trail to take and what time to reach there for getting parking slots which worked out perfectly for us.

We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Doug & Di for the great hospitality and wonderful stay.

Cheers

I and my son did a road trip in Canada on may 2017 and the stay in Taylor-Made B&B was the best place ever even if during our trip we stay in very famous hotels like Marriot and sheraton.
Doug and Diana are incredible hosts and Diana cooks so well everything you want for your breakfast.
The location is great : a lot of things to do around and it is very closed to Tobermory.
Thanks for all of that !

Room Tip: our room was at ground level and was great but I think every room is nice

While on an Ontario fall vacation in October 2016 we stayed at Taylor-Made B&B for three nights. We chose to stay in Lion’s Head because of its central location on the Bruce Peninsula and the perfect place to make daytrips from, as well as its proximity to the Bruce Trail. Diana and Doug were gracious hosts and the breakfasts were very delicious with lots of choices. “Today’s muffin is…” was a daily surprise! And the homemade bread and jams were so tasty. We stayed in Room #5 on the main floor, a spacious room with a comfortable bed. The shower in the ensuite had a dispenser with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The common room had a Keurig machine and a variety of pods. Doug kindly turned up the heat a notch when we were cold. Diana had suggestions for good hikes and also informed us which restaurants were still open in Lion’s Head after Thanksgiving (the season seems to end with that holiday for many businesses on the Peninsula!). We ate at Rachel's on a Thursday night which is jam night. What a foot-stomping good time that was with local musical talent! Thank you, Diana and Doug, for a great stay and good conversations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Taylormade B&B. Doug and Diana are the perfect hosts and made us feel right at home. Their home is very warm cosy comfortable and tastefully decorated. Our room had a private ensuite bathroom stocked with shower gel shampoo and lotion. Breakfast choices were served with delicious homemade breads and jams and fresh fruits. The TV room had a fridge and coffee/tea/hot chocolate was available anytime. The Hot Tub in the backyard was an added bonus to relax after a day of hiking! We highly recommend this B&B!

We stayed at Taylor-Made B&B for two nights at the end of August and had a fantastic time. We could not speak highly enough of Doug and Diana, who were amazing hosts and were full of helpful suggestions about interesting trails to walk, as well as useful information about Lion's Head and Bruce Peninsula (e.g. when best to visit the National Park, restaurants in the area, etc).

Highlights for me were:

- Delicious breakfast each morning - Doug and Diana really go the extra mile to deliver a really tasty, varied and filling breakfast each morning.
- We really liked the sitting room - a very relaxing space after a day out walking/sight-seeing.
- The B&B is down a very quiet street, but is only a few mins walk from the main street with restaurants, the beach, etc. We had two very peaceful nights' sleep.

I also had the misfortune of leaving my travel adaptor in a previous hotel. Doug very kindly let me borrow his during our stay, which was a real lifesaver. Thanks, again, Doug!

We would highly recommend this B&B and will be sure to stay here again if we ever revisit the area.
