...at the beginning of the Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse (overvalued imho). Got a very nice, spacious room with magnificent view of the mountain. Kind and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast OK. A bit overpriced.

We stayed here for 10 nights in August. There was only one lift working in the village, but the bus stop was right by the hotel, so very convenient to get the bus down the valley and back.
We had a large room with a balcony with the sun in the afternoon and evenings. We bought the Montafon/Silvretta card for 10 days, essential for travelling on gondolas, chairlifts, bus etc.
We were the only British in the hotel, but the receptionists were very helpful.
We were surprised to find out that walking shorts were not permitted in the restaurant at breakfast or dinner, but shabby jeans were okay!
Hotel very clean, normal five/six course meals were very good, pool very clean and so refreshing after a day's walking. Plenty of parking, can thoroughly recommend.
By the way, the hotel is next to the Church and the bells ring at 7.00a.m. every morning! Fine, if like us you are awake early and ready to start the day. No A/C so very hot in dining room as temperatures had been up to 36 degrees.

Room Tip: Front facing room with a balcony for excellent outlook.

We stayed in the 6. floor, in the smallest room, but still had a table and a sitting place in our room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is good and there is mostly a choice of two or three main courses. We didn't use the spa, but the pool is relativly large and there are mostly kids and families. the hotel provides bowling, table tennis etc. and the situation is perfect, close to the skiing area (excellent....) and in the middle of the little village... just if people don't like the sound of the church bells, it could be a little loud, because it's just opposite the chruch.... but we won't complain...

Iwas with a Saga group going to the passion play at Obergammergau when we stayed at this beautiful and quiet hotel.Gaschurn is a beautiful small village and the hotel complemented it perfectly. The hotel is perfectly placed for all the amenities of the village, outside it,is the bus stop, across the road is tourist information, and only five minutes walk away is the cable car.Isuggest if you are with a group staying here use the skittle alley good fun and a great way to meet other members of your group. Thanks to a great guy called Bert that's what we did after our evening meal.

I stayed in this hotel as part of a package holiday.
The service is excellent, the staff could not do enough for us. OUr room was really spacious; there were double basins in the bathroom (great in the mornings!) and a seperate toilet. We also had a sitting/eating area and a great view to the mountains (sadly covering in mist for almost all of our stay) The shower was powerful.
There are two pools, both heated, indoor and outdoor. I did swim in both and the outdoor pool will be wonderful during the summer months. The indoor pool is much bigger than you would expect from a hotel pool. Both pools were really clean.
The food was to die for. When it was a buffet, the choices were enough to satisfy everyone, and the table d'hote menu choices were varied and delicious.
The only thing I found a little odd was that drinks with meals and at the bar appeared to be cash only, I am not sure if you could add to the room or not. This might be because my room was a group booking.
There was internet access - I didn't use it as I thought it was a little on the expensive side - 2 euros for half an hour, or 20 euros for the stay, but I am a firm believer of free internet access in hotels, so maybe the prices are normal.
The fitness room was reasonable - what you would expect from a hotel - treadmill, bike rowers and a multigym
