It was OK, our room was a bit bland, we've been to Italy MANY times so we do know what you get for a 4 star establishment. The staff were extremely welcoming and consistently professional and helpful. It was disappointing they do not cater for evening meals, consequently the hotel was like a ghost town in the evenings. The bar prices were expensive and as a result every night of the 7 we were there it was deserted!

Another annoyance was the piped music by the pool all day and night which was aimed squarely at the hotels target audience which is 20 - 30s.

The room TVs show only Italian TV so no SKY channels at all which is also disappointing.

The breakfasts although the same every morning were fine for our tastes and again the staff during this period were brilliant.

WIFI? Forget it is pathetic even if you do manage to log in it is ot capable of even downloading emails let alone getting onto FB.

We couldn't really sit out on the 'patio' in the evenings as it was overlooking the main road and the first night there I received about 5 insect bites.

On a positive point overall the hotel was very clean and well maintained.

We stayed for 9 days. Generally speaking it's a beautiful place and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Was one of the things that made our stay really pleasurable.

It's a 10 minute walk to town which makes it really accessible by foot. And if you have a car it's conveniently close to the main motorways to get to airport or other parts of the island.

We had a suite, which was very comfortable, spacious and beautifully clean (maid service every day). Breakfast was basic but plentiful and constantly replenished. Staff were lovely and could not do enough to help. The site is very quiet (day and night) although I understand that San teodoro hosts a week long music festival in September which may possibly have some affect on the site.
Cons: not enough shade around the pool area, the air conditioning in the bedroom is extremely noisy, there is no onsite restaurant. The door to our suite faced the sun, making the metal door knob too hot to touch!

we booked an apartment here for few days in august thinking that we would be able to use all the facilities but it is not the case.
the access to the spa is only for the hotel and so is the breakfast an extra. the apartment are more spacious but very very basic.
no mosquito net on windows
no cleaning of the room below 8 days of stay
no real advantage in spending more for an apartment in this complex apart from space and the possibility to cook a meal for yourself (although as i said it is very basic in dotation).
make sure you make the right choice if you book here.
the complex itself is very nice and clean at first look but again after a few days one can start to see many faults for the price payed. there is no restaurant (only breakfast served) and the pool bar has very limited options. the maintenance of the site is also not up to scratch especially in the children area where toys are very neglected and potentially dangerous.

Room tip: ground floor apartment have bigger outside space

I enjoyed my week here, the hotel facility is clean and service is very warm. The location for the hotel is a bit hard to find, but it's in walking distance (10-15 min) to the center of San Teodoro and about a 10 minute drive to the Cinta Beach. I had two spa treatments here, and the ladies at the spa and reception spoke english quite well and it was a very relaxing experience. Alessandro from the main desk was superb, helping us with our excursions and directions. The breakfast buffet is great, and larger in comparison to other hotels. they offer scrambled eggs, assortment of cheese and meats, fruits, cereal, yogurt and fresh baked goods. Excellent location and service, I would definitely return. Only con is that the wifi is very low in the rooms and you'll have to go to the pool and main lobby-- but then again, it's vacation so shut that blackberry and iphone down!
