Nice and friendly restaurant right at Praia da rocha. The buffe is good with a choice of all kinds of food, from sashimi to duck. The food is prepared in front of you.

The restaurant looks average, but the Sushi itself is top class. Real professionals in the kitchen. We had Take Away 5 times. The only proper Sushi in Portimao.

The concept sounds great, but the quality of the chinese food is substandard compared to the UK. They give you small, greasy portions. We paid 3.50 Euro for duck, but the pancakes were all torn. My wife had sushi and much of the rolls were deep fried! The sushi take away is better quality.. Staff not friendly at all.

Please avoid this poor excuse for a chinese restaurant. All they are interested in is serving you drinks. We thought we would give it a try based on the buffet (all you can eat) experience. The staff were ok, but the manager, a nightmare. You order by number on a pad from a picture menu. Starters were ok, it was our mains. We wanted 3 mains with 3 rice and 3 noodles (only 2 rice turned up). Only half came up, when questioned it was "it's coming. it's coming"! So when it finally arrived our rice and noodles was cold, hardly the buffet we were promised. Plus a picture of sweet and sour chicken with a bowl of sauce and pineapple was just three chicken balls in batter. Thats just not right, and we argued the point with the manager. She insisted we were wrong even though the picture said otherwise. She told us everyone knows the balls are sweet and sour chicken, what cobblers. Then she said were not honest people pointing out the now cold rice and noodles; more or less saying we were greedy. When questioned on the third rice we did not get she said we had plenty of food, so they actually monitor what you eat and only give you what they feel fit, not what you want.
We left only paying part of the bill, despite the "manager" chasing after us. We stuck to our guns, and can only warn others not to be suckered in by the promise of "buffet" food and "all you can eat"
Dine here and you will be disappointed

The restaurant is split Chinese and Japanese cuisine.
I dined the Japanese side as I fancied some sushi. €16 a head which sounds ok but the quality of the food is dreadful!
The wasabi and soy sauce were watered down so practically no flavour, over cooked rice in the sushi rolls, the Nori (sushi paper) which should be crispy was chewy. If there are Japanese chefs in the kitchen they should be ashamed serving up such substandard sushi.
It works as a buffet except but instead of picking your food you order it.
Few of the dishes are named differently for the two sides of the restaurant but are basically the same thing.
We ordered edamame beans which looked closer to the colour of mushy peas, they were old, stale and over boiled.
The staff makes you feel bad if you don't eat the dishes but seriously some of the dishes were diabolical!
And shouldn't have been served up at all, no standards what so ever.
Horrible experience all round.
I would never recommend this restaurant, by far the worst I've tried in praia da rocha
