Beautiful bungalows in a peaceful location. We were very impressed at the high standard of all aspects of this charming, spacious complex. The bungalows are very well equipped. There is a supermarket, a few cafes and a lovely restaurant nearby which is handy as it's a 20 minute walk to the marina. We will definitely visit again. Playa Blanca is a delightful place. Everywhere is clean and well kept, No litter, No graffiti a pleasure to visit.

Situated just outside Playa Blanca, this 1st class accommodation of 2 bed bungalows was just the ticket. 15-20 minutes walk along the front to the Rubicon Marina and a further 15 minutes to the centre of Playa Blanca. The accommodation is excellent with every conceivable item you could wish for for a perfect holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff in reception and on-site car parking if required. Absolutely no complaints and will return at some other time.

Room Tip: Bungalows are built on a hill with a pool at the lower level so if you like the pool, try for a bungalow on a lower level.

It was 18 years since our last visit to Lanzarote. This time a couples visit, no children. These bungalows were fantastic - so comfortable and spacious. They seemed very well equipped although we tended to just eat breakfast and a light lunch preferring to dine out at night. The supermarket was very close by. Reception stocked the huge containers of water which saved having to carry them from the supermarket.

We walked each evening, except one, along the promenade to Marina Rubicon where there was a range of well priced restaurants. The walk probably took us about 20 minutes (we don’t walk fast) but it was on the flat and not too exhausting. We had one slightly more expensive meal at the local restaurant where the quality was far superior to that of those we tried at Marina Rubicon and the menu somewhat more adventurous!

We hired a car using the company recommended by the staff at the bungalows and for three days we paid £95 approx for a group B car which was upgraded to a C. There is so much to see and do on this island of wonderful scenery and colours.

Back at the bungalows the pool looked tempting but the weather wasn’t quite warm enough. We should have braved the jacuzzi!

Staff were extremely helpful and provided a lot of useful information when asked. The local bus stop is immediately outside the bungalows and the journey into Playa Blanca was very inexpensive. The bus passes the front door every half hour!

We found this to be a wonderful location for a one week break and the holiday was every bit as good as the one 18 years ago!

We hope to return next year!

First time in Lanzarote and spent ages looking at reviews before choosing and would say we definitely made a good choice.
The whole complex is only a few years old and everything is fresh and clean. We had a bungalow at the lower end right next to the outdoor shared swimming pools (unheated) and Jacuzzi. The complex is gated and each bungalow near the pool has a front gate too meaning escaping small children should not be a problem for parents.
The bungalow was lovely with plenty of space. The double bedroom had a huge en-suite bathroom with shower over bath (remember toilet paper goes in the bin, not in the loo). There was another bathroom at the other end of the bungalow with a shower cubicle. The twin bedroom was spacious (and away from the double bedroom) though not so much storage as the double which had a decent wardrobe. The kitchen was small and basic as you might expect but had everything we needed.
Towels and bedding were regularly changed and the maid kept things clean and tidy every day except Sunday.
If you called the main door which opened onto the pool area the front door, then the back door opened onto a large sheltered patio area with table, chairs and sun-loungers. The road was just over the wall but not overlooked with screening on top of the wall.
Across the road was a small (again fairly new) shopping area with cafes, restaurants, small supermarket, pharmacy, cycle hire, souvenir shops, Segway hire and a bar.
As this was on the edge of Playa Blanca you had to either walk into town via the very nice promenade which only took about fifteen minutes if you didn't stop to admire the view or the bus ran every thirty minutes from outside the reception. Reception hours were a little short at 0900-1500 but the staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. There was a 24 hour phone line for when the reception was closed with a landline in the double bedroom.
We saw no evidence of mosquitoes in February but plenty of other wildlife to keep the children interested, various birds, small lizards etc.
If you went into town, around the marina there were plenty of restaurants to choose from ranging from Spanish through to Asian.
Fantastic scenery especially if you try the bus tour which takes you through the National Park which is a surreal landscape of volcanic wreckage and the tour included an optional camel ride! We booked through reception which got over any language issues for us.
Came away having had a great holiday and left with the feeling of still plenty more to see and do.
Would definitely recommend these bungalows and would stay there again.

Our last stop in Lanzarote was at Coloradamar Bungalows, a special place close to Playa Blanca where we have spent two relaxing days. We have stayed in a nice apartment with view to the ocean and it was great to have our breakfast and dinner outside under a beautiful bougainvillea. The Bungalows are situated really close to Playa Papagayo that we have visited in our first evening there. The sunset looked amazing from there.

The apartments are super clean and they are fully equipped for a great holiday and the pool area is super quiet and relaxing. Loved also all the vegetation from the compound and the staff was extremely helpful.

These pictures are from a relaxing evening by the pool and after that Adrian has prepared for us a romantic dinner on our terrace with my favourite pastas, because there was also a super nice kitchen in our Coloradamar apartment

Room Tip: best rooms are the ones with ocean view
