Enigma is a little restaurant just before getting into the main strip in Nosara. It sits in a plaza behind the gas station and, would be very easy to miss if you weren't looking for it. The view is a dusty parking lot, which is the only down side. The restaurant is nicely furnished, open air dining and, exceptionally clean. The service is good. What is absolutely spectacular about Enigma is their food. My daughter had the tuna, which she loved. I had the sea bass with roasted vegetables. The sea bass was quite possibly the best fish l've ever had. lt is hard to imagine they have a sophisticated oven so, l am not quite certain how it was cooked to such perfection...crisp on the outside and so tender inside that it fell off my fork. Perfect. Even the roasted vegetables were somehow better than most. This place is off the beaten path but if you are looking for a great meal at a fair price, this place is amazing.
