Pool house is a great small hostel, close to the center of Santa Ana. It is clean, has a nice chill area with Netflix, and the pool is very welcoming in this hot city. There is a hammock as well. The shared bathroom is clean. You can use the kitchen and fridge and with a supermarket close, it is easy to make your own food. They offer tea, coffee and water for free. I also liked that they recycle waste like plastic bottles and cans, which not a lot of people/hostels do in Central America! The host is a very nice, young local women who speaks English as well and offers a lot of help with anything. And she has an amazingly lovely kitten who wants to play all the time, very enjoyable!

After traveling for a few months, I arrived in this Cute/Comfy Hostel and felt like at home. It was a great feeling to have within my trip; Thanks to the amazing hosts that are here to share a real Salvadorian experience. Best day trips around Santa Ana and great time around the kitchen/Pool !

I was travelling with 4 of my friends and our Spanish skills aren’t too good. Julio was an amazing host , he help us finding transport and a place to stay in a different town just with his contact. The place is really charming, everyone is talking to each other, it’s like a big family! Free local coffee every morning and lots of day trips are offered, to the volcano and the waterfalls for exemple. Julio gave us many ride around, he’s really dedicated to his job! Gracias Julio!
