I recently stayed at this property with a group of 20 people for 6 nights. It was located about 2 hours from SAL airport, San Salvador. The location was right off the main road, Av Indepedencia, and in the proximity of a shopping center, MetroCentro, and various food options, including Burger king, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Pollo Campero, and Mister Dounuts, about 2.5 KM away. The hotel was generally staffed by a single receptionist who was always friendly and helpful. There was an armed guard present who was generally stationed near the entrance but made the circuit around the property sporadically. There was WIFI in the lobby area, that was able to reach my room inconsistently at the back of the property. The other hotel rooms around the main courtyard appeared a little older, with the 7 story unit at the back of the property looking somewhat newer in construction. Most rooms had a single key assignment per room, while some rooms used an electronic card key access. The hotel had various meeting rooms, which appeared to be frequently used by various local organizations and businesses. There was a dining room, but did not appear to have regular food service. Our group had a daily breakfast and two dinner services, through prior arrangement with the establishment. The food was adequate, and not particularly memorable and mostly the same each day. Our group had a daily breakfast and two dinner services, through prior arrangement with the establishment. The food was adequate, and not particularly memorable and mostly the same each day. The Nestle coffee dispenser in the lobby was available with a cost of $.75 per small cup, that was great and the highlight of my evenings. Other than wifi and a pool, there was no real amenities available like a snack bar or gift shop. There was a counter display in the lobby for some products if a guest wanted to pick up chips, a keychain, or a sweat shirt of Father Romero, a historical hero. My room was clean and organized in the classic double queen bed, AC, TV, couch, chair, and small closet. The daily towel exchange was provided along with two bottles of water. The room was quiet and beds were moderately firm for a good night of sleep. The building elevator was small and could accommodate about 4 persons or two with luggage. Overall an adequate stay without any complaints.More
