I t is walking distance to airport. They speak English. The rooms were clean. They also arranged for a luggage trolley from the airport for easier movement. They allowed an early check in at noon. We had a very nice waiter for dinner in restaurant.

Our checkin was quick and easy. We were given 2 bottles of water as executive lounge was closed, along with 2 drink vouchers. Our room was comfortable. Extra towels were in closet. A/c worked but was a bit noisy for me. My one major complaint was the quilt on the bed was way too heavy- more of a winter quilt. Even with the a/c on coldest setting we were too warm and there was no cover sheet to use instead.
We ate lunch at the restaurant. Hamburger was huge and delicious. We also had dinner there, and the pasta was just barely okay. Service was very good at all 3 meals we ate there. Breakfast the next morning was “buffet”- the staff served you whatever you wanted. Hot food, cold food, breads, drinks. Good selection.
Can’t beat the location for travel to the airport. Would definitely stay there again if ever in Rome and needed easy access to airport.

It was somehow sad to see: it is quite outdated but their friendly staff members could compensate a lot. We got by e-mail to upgrade to Executive Rooms. But it was not mentioned that the Lounge was not accessible. So we got only some water. Breakfast in the Executive Lounge was replaced by regular Breakfast Service. We came late since our flight would not open so soon the check-in. And currently, our airline did not offer lounge service due to a pandemic. So the buffet was already quite empty but they told us that we should ask and they will get it for us from the kitchen. Before they closed the buffet they came around and asked as for our last wishes but we can have coffee and tea at any time. Since the "e-Upgrade" was as expensive as two breakfasts it was ok. When we checked out, we mentioned it. They offered to upgrade us with our next visit free of charge since it was not clearly communicated that the Lounge would not be available. The complimentary shuttle service was not offered either.

I came with my husband for lunch in the main (and only) restaurant at the hotel, during our long transit in the Rome Airport, we arrived at the hotel at 11:45 and the restaurant was still closed, as they only open for lunch at 12noon. Was already 12:10 when they let few guests that were waiting enter the restaurant. We ordered a pasta and a burger, which were both very average. The pasta was specially blend, no sauce and the prowns said to be in there was one prawn cutted in small pieces. I mentioned to the waiter about my disappointment and all she said was OK. anything else and that was it. So not only the food isnt great quality but it's followed by the service with is very poor.
Was just a disappointment.

We stayed in June 2021, so I’m a bit late writing this. We always stay here the night before we fly back to the States the following day. This was especially convenient with COVID. We could go over to the terminal after we checked in and get our COVID test, so we didn’t have to rush around on the day of the flight. On flight day, it was quick and easy to check in and be on our way.
Now, getting back to the hotel…Our check in person at the front desk was Nico. I can’t give enough positive accolades to him. He was friendly, informative, and very helpful. He gave us his card and told us to call him if we had any questions or needed anything. With cut backs on service he was a definite shining star!
The room, as usual, was spacious and comfortable. We were put on the executive level due to our gold status. This is the rule, not the exception when we stay here, and we greatly appreciate it. Breakfast is always enjoyable and sumptuous. You just can’t beat the location and the service. The shuttle to Rome was not available and the executive lounge was not open due to COVID. I hope that’s not the case when we return next month. We look forward to our return to the Rome Fiumicino Hilton Hotel!

Room tip: Executive floor rooms are great!
