Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. This place is delightful. The rooms are spacious enough, and elegantly appointed . . . as are the common areas. It's right on the beach, and has a nice spa. The included breakfast was perfect (omelettes cooked to order). The staff was cheerful and helpful. Had a wonderful stay.

Room tip: Beach view, of course.

We've spent a few nights at this boutique hotel and booked a junior suite with half-board. During our stay the Cous-Cous Fest took place what we din't know before. Our room (No 402) was very nicely decorated and we had a incredible view from the 4th floor. Unfortunately the room was more a tent than a real room as the walls and roof are made of plastic. During the first night we were not able to close an eye as concerts and the nearby disco were palying music until approx. 02.30h. After another night in the same room we were able to change to another junior suite on a lower floor, which was much better noise-wise.
The restaurant is very good, tipical sicilian food is served.
Front office staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Capo San Vito is not only positioned over looking a beautiful beach, with views of undulating hills and mountains but also provides well furnished and perfectly decorated rooms as well as fantastic staff.
When we arrived the hotel didn't look so appealing from the outside, but when we entered, the interior had a boutique feel to it and we were welcomed warmly at reception. Although the reception area was small it was decorated with impressive artwork, especially for a relatively small hotel positioned on the outskirts of Palermo.
When we arrived to our rooms my immediate feeling was one of a good nature, they were beautifully furnished with good furniture, lighting and a comfortable balcony. The bathrooms were nice, however it didn't have a bath. The only negative about the room was that the beds were fairly uncomfortable.
Although only few of the staff spoke English, I thought they were incredibly welcoming and thoughtful. From the maids to the manager I thought they were all very nice and warm. The waiters and waitresses were all very helpful and professional. The only problem was that the food wasn't great, however it was reasonably priced. We had a waiter called Caspare who was very funny and entertaining as well as being very professional and good at his job.
Our other waitress was probably the most beautiful woman I've ever set eyes upon, the spitting image of Sophia Loren, she served us drinks to us every night with elegance and professionalism. With piercing green eyes and a perfect smile I would advise you to come to Hotel Capo San Vito purely for her!
We stepped onto the beach from the hotel and we stayed there most of the day. The water was a beautiful temperature. The beach was full a lot of the time but, that didn't spoil the breathtaking views. Sadly the town that the hotel was located in was unappealing, it had several bars and restaurants but we stayed in the hotel to eat every night, but who wouldn't with stunning views of the Mediterranean on your doorstep. You had to pay for the beach uses, such as sun beds and towels, we were slightly disappointed at first but then realised it was very common to have to pay to use the beach when staying at hotels in Sicily.

The Hotel wasn't cheap, but by no means was it overpriced. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone, a family beach holiday, romantic stay or a place to escape. A fantastic stay, great people, great location.

This is an excellant 4* hotel with sublime food. Popular with Italian families which must say something. Plenty of good local restaurants for lunch but you would not want to miss dinner at Capo San Vito. One small gripe: music in the restaurant much too loud. Had to ask for it to be turned down the whole time.Otherwise a really good stay.

Room tip: Take sea view!

No, this is not a resort and it is not a polished Disneyland style hotel. So if you are looking for a run of the mill "anywhere in the world" style hotel you will be disappointed. It is a truly Italian small hotel on an enchanting little white sand beach in Western Sicily that has been left for the most part open to the locals because, after all, it is their town. It has clean modern renovated rooms. It is right on the beach. It has the warmest staff, ready to tell you about the love they have for food and country. The food was really exceptional and fresh, mostly local fish. The guests are mostly Italian because it does cater mostly to Italian taste, but Italian taste is what I crave when I go to Italy. Don't you?

Room tip: Top floor corner is always the most private and quiet. You can also get a partial view of the ocean for a lower price.
