Cavalese is a nice little town from where you can reach a number of nice skiing areas easily within 30 minutes.
Your hotel is beautiful and positioned well in the centre of Cavalese. The room was spacious and of high standards.
The breakfast offering was more than complete. The Italian dinners in the evening refined and delicious.
We learned to appreciate a number of good new wines. Also, we enjoyed your wellness centre at the end-of-each day.
But most of all we liked the good humor and service of your staff including your son.
Grazie mille e ci vediamo!
Arrivederci,

Arjen Roem

I booked this hotel for a stay with my family in February 2017.

There was a problem with my reservation , which is irrelevant to explain, but I would like to express ny sincere gratitude, how the Management of the Orso Grigio, has taken care in a very professional and understanding way.

This in my opinion reflects the whole positive way in the which this hotel is run.

I hope to visit again soon and wish you all continued succes.

Please accept my best regards

Axel

The recently re-newed Orso Grigio is a perfect place to stay. Right in the centre of the charming town it has everything you need for a relaxing stay in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We don't like large, busy, noisy hotels so this suited us perfectly. The rooms are lovely and the children adored the Jacuzzi downstairs and the shower in the room with the colour therapy light. We ate in the hotel and why wouldn't you??? The food was excellent and no more costly than any restaurant serving similar quality food, possibly better value. Dinner was really delicious and the staff pleasant. Breakfast was an equal treat, everything of the highest quality, locally sourced and great tasting and the whole honeycomb means the honey doesn't get fresher than that - a real treat.

I have stayed at Orso Grigio with my girlfriend for 3 nights. The hotel is nestled in the heart of Cavalese.

From a first glimpse, you'll know it is a very well preserved historical building, but the recent renovation gave rooms a complete modern makeover. Our room had all comforts and technologies such as chromotheraphy showers, infrared private Sauna and electronic blinds.

The Restaurant has an authentic feel and a balanced blend of traditional and genuine cuisine, using natural local products. Try any of the pasta dishes, as all of their pasta is homemade!! ☺️ We dined there two nights out of three and found it flawless! Great food for an honest price.

My girlfriend really enjoyed the intimate spa and the family lead hotel environment. The staff went all the way to make us feel right at home. Special mention to Daniela, who opened up throughout our stay and gave us great insights in what to do out and about We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

The Orso Grigio is a well run family hotel with a warning and personal atmosphere where you will feel welcome and cared for. The rooms were recently redecorated in an elegant "chalet chic" style, with plenty of hi tech features, very comfortable beds and high quality bed linen. Breakfast is very nice, we were able to order any style of eggs, for instance. We have not had the opportunity to try the restaurant, however. The hotel is located off the main street in the charming village of Cavalese. A perfect choice for winter sports, especially for watching the Tour de Ski, and nice in the summer as well.
