This park (resort) was perfect for our family. The most outstanding thing about this park is the service. We have never had such genuine, friendly and helpful service in Australia. The Townhouse Riverside Villa was great and a one week stay is not long enough. The pools are very well landscaped and much safer than most overseas (un-fenced) pools. We did not have enough time for all the great in park activities on offer. The bistro was a big surprise as the meals on offer were great for family's, good quality and very cheap. The kids playground is right next to the restaurant so you can watch the kids while enjoying a beer. The park has a great tropical feel and is very well maintained.

Room Tip: We thought we had the best cabin (Townhouse Riverside Villa) in the park, next to the river with a p...

My husband and I have stayed here twice in the studio unit and it has always been a fantastic stay! Despite the basin in the unit was kinda choked, but it was still alright as water was still able to drain quite fast. Location is just next to Harbour Town!

Overall, the park, we felt, is a little over-rated. Powered sites are a bit on the exy side. actually we sort of felt we were being fleeced at every opportunity. extra activities weren't free. This was a let down. We've stayed at other Big 4's were the same activities have been free. Kids Club, I guess would have been ok (we didn't use it), and it all depended on when you were staying....some activities way better than others. Again not free, where other Kids Clubs have been. But if parents were thinking they could send 'little johnny' off to enjoy himself with others, while you grab a quiet drink or rest for an hour, think again. As I mentioned, we camped, but while looking around the park and using two of the pools, I'm glad we didn't pay the money for any of the villas or cabins. These were situated right on top of (basically) the pools. No rest or daytime sleeps for mum or dad.....too noisy! I will say that the pool areas and spas were done very nicely. Tropical trees and gardens made it nice. Way too much clorine in the spas and pools thou. My sons eyes burnt after and hour and hair was green in 2 days! (yes, he did wash with shampoo each night). We had the buffet dinner at Galleons on saturday night. It was just 'ok'. The food on offer was quite nice, but there was no dessert except fruit salad. Admitedly, the kids were given a complimentery juice and a billabong paddlepop....both of which can be bought at the corner store any day of the week. The amenities were we were camped we lovely and clean. Nice hot showers. Other amenities (near the pool) were rather out dated and 'doggy'. We weren't entirely sure why they decided to call the park 'treasure island'. We thought there would have been a lot more reference to things like pirates or ships, the ocean etc etc? So, for the money we paid, we weren't that impressed. may be we had a over inflated preception due to the big 4 and other internet sites.

We thank the reviewer for providing feedback on their recent stay at Treasure Island Holiday Park. It is a matter of regret that we were unable to provide a product to the total satisfaction of the reviewer on this occasion and for that we do apologize. It is our aim to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. We appreciate any comments to assist us in maintaining and improving our service levels and facilities. The areas of concern have been fully reviewed and we will ensure that those items that can be addressed are.

As a family orientated business we are most aware of the strains that are placed upon the budget of those who stay with us. However, we have received a great deal of positive feedback in regards to providing a “value for money” holiday experience. We offer a vast array of accommodation types (17 in total) with options to suit even the most sensitive of budgets. The cost also covers many elements of the other facilities and activities that are on offer in the park.

We provide a balance of free and paid activities for families so there are options. Some of the free activities include basketball, giant outdoor games, table tennis, jumping pillow, three swimming pools, spas, barbecues, magician, clowns, Wild Ranger wildlife displays, movies under the stars, trivia nights, many activities and sessions within the Kids Club. Many others are done on a “cost recovery only” basis. The range of stimulating activities we provide was never designed as a crèche or babysitting service.

We are a family holiday park and therefore accept that there will be an element of noise from people having fun in the middle of the day which may impact on those wanting to nap at that time. Our pools and spas are tested multiple times daily to ensure that chlorine and other chemical levels comply with the relevant regulations.

It is most pleasing that we have achieved a 93% satisfaction rating and that so many who stay with us have a fantastic time and return time again. There is always room for improvement so again we thank the reviewer for their comments.

Great place to stay. All ages are thought of when preparing what people would enjoy. Obviously site have listened to "what people want in a holiday"!
We stayed in Pandanus Villa and my son and his family were camping on site. All area's were brilliant / kids loved facility and explored everywhere.
We said " we knew we had a great holiday as we did not have to take our car's out of the carpark" - all guests that I met were happy and seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Staff obviously very attentive to detail - could not get over the general tidiness of the park.
Congratulations to everyone who work there.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Pandanus Villa and it was very quiet - didn't hear any outside noise.
