They put us in their 2nd building, which is above the restaurant. It was VERY noisy all night long. Between the road noise, and some kind of construction going on under us, we got very little sleep. The room was clean, but very dated and unappealing. The sheets and blankets were too small for the bed, and the bedspread kept slipping off of the bed. We were in a tangled mess in the morning. There was no phone, no clock, no hand towels or washclothes, the bath towels were threadbare, the hot water only worked if you put it on a trickle flow. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was so-so. Would not go back.

Room Tip: Stay in the main building...though I'm not sure if it's better or not.

This could use some much needed upgrades. We needed a place to sleep and we found this on trip advisor. Price was very good and it was clean. We sleep well. Nice hot water which we needed after 2 nights of camping.

If you want to have a good breakfast before travelinf the island you habe to stop at the buen cafe. The service is really good and fast. Cost of food is great. People are sharming and you feel welcome at the restaurant.

I stayed at the rooms above the restaurant. The Hotel has two locations, divided by a street. One side has just the hotel, pool and conference hall. The other has a restaurant on the first floor and hotel rooms on the second level that can only be accessed with a key they give you at the front desk. That is where my room was located. The decor is very caribbean-ish with rattan furniture, a full-size bed that squeaked like crazy, and a little desk. Big closet with mirror doors, nice size bathroom, except the toilet, too small. The fridge did not work, the TV had stations with no audio. Now the major faults: the shower had no instructions for use, you have to call front desk, with your own phone as there is no phone on the room. No TV line up (a piece of paper can help a lot). The walls are thin enough that you can hear everything from the next room, no ice machine, no vending machines, you have to travel to a Walgreens to get water and stuff. Desperately needs an elevator.

For $100.00 a night and overall, and if it gets the problems fixed it can really be a top-notch hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms in the main building.
