We have just returned from a one week stay at this hotel. We were not sure what to expect as we have not stayed all inc in Europe previously. We picked this because of the appeal of the water slides and pools to our young children. We were not disappointed. We arrived on the island and within an hour we were unpacking (I recommend private taxi transfer), staff were warm and welcoming.

Rooms - very spacious and lovely large balcony or terrace. Lots of storage. Very clean and rooms cleaned / tidying and fresh towels daily.

Pools and grounds really well kept and clean. Im all for removal of towels from beds when left early in the morning so well done staff for enforcing this rule. Lifeguards were attentive and on the ball.

The food appears to be the bug bear of a lot of people however I can honestly say that we found the food well presented, varied, HOT and it kept our children happy. We did eat out twice in the evening but that was because we just fancied a charge of scene more than anything else. We certainly didn't find any dishes luke warm or even cold except on the extensive salad bar.

My two children had loads to chose from and enjoyed the selection immensely. I see that other people have commented the 'kids' food was repetitive. Well I guess that you could say that this is the intention of the food targeted just at children - so the basics, chips, pizza, fish fingers or whatever is available. Other options - and plenty of them, are on the main buffet. My children dont love this kind of food anyway so we didnt visit the childrens buffet more than once/ twice just to see what there was.

My son has a dairy allergy and Maria accommodated him as far as possible- supply of almond milk for example - thank you Maria, this was really appreciated.

The drinks and cocktails were lovely and included branded spirits. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

All in all we have a lovely holiday and whilst we probably wont visit Lanzarote again we will certainly stay at other H10 hotels.

Second family holiday staying in a H10 hotel and yet again it was fantastic. Our first stay in Estepona was amazing but as our kids are older now we decided to go to Lanzarote Gardens and we were not disappointed. This is a fantastic hotel for families. We stayed all inclusive as our kids can be picky eaters and it was well worth it, both for the kids and us. I found the food to be very good and varied each night. The choice of drinks for adults within the all inclusive package is varied also ( especially the cocktails :) )

The entertainment team were amazing. From the kids club in the morning and afternoon , to the nightly entertainment it was all of an extremely high standard. My two girls skipped along to club everyday which gave me and my wife sometime to ourselves and this was very much appreciated as we got to rest or go for a run around the area which i would recommend, some of the scenery is amazing.

This is a fantastic hotel and i have to applaud the entire team @ Lanzarote gardens as every single member of staff greeted you with an hello and a smile and were so accommodating. More resorts could learn from H10 .......

We stayed 10 nights at this hotel an family of 4 ages 12&16

We arrived late around 11 pm and we were told the restaurant was closed and we were given a picnic bag which included water, fruit and a sandwich

Rooms - the room was brilliant plenty of space and wardrobes for clothes was well clean and beds were fine apartments were great was cleaned everyday and given fresh towels

Pool area - pool area was fine plenty of sun beds and was plenty was life guards around the pools including the slides pool can be a bit deep with slides for young children

Staff - staff at pool bar are amazing with drinks and ice cream always friendly and pleasant

Wifi- we were given a receipt for codes for the wifi for only 2 devices so we were given 2 for are 4 devices we took this was free of charge . Wifi is okay sometimes it turned on and off but when it's off it's okay

Food -

Breakfast - breakfast was good although the bacon was burnt and hard but everything else was okay

Lunch- we went to the pool bar for lunch were it served burgers, chips, pizza , hot dogs and sandwiches lunch could be a lot warmer as sometimes the food was cold

Dinner - out of 9 nights of eating out of the restaurant we had to eat out 4 of those nights. The Friday night the canarian night food was terrible we went to the restaurant as soon as it opened food was absolutely cold pasta was cold and food was not properly cooked we left 4 full plates of food and had to eat out. Most night food was not warm and for a 4 star hotel I expected better food.
Food was the same each nights for the kids

Entertainment- this hotel mostly entertains for kids not much for teens and adults to do entertainment at night we did not see as it was inside and it was very warm with all the people but it's mostly aimed for kids even activities through the day

After staying here for 10 nights we would not return to this hotel for a 4 star hotel and we were disappointed as this was a well needed holiday and the food let this holiday down
