We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights in October/November. We asked for a quiet room, and were pleased to get one at the end of a corridor overlooking land adjacent to the hotel. We stayed half board, and the food was good with a decent amount of choice. The dining room itself was pleasant. It did get busy at peak times and sometimes we had to queue a few minutes to get in. Our room was reasonably clean and the beds in the lounge were fairly comfortable (this has not always been the case in hotels we have stayed in). The beds in the bedroom were fine, as was the kitchenette. We were pleased to see that the lifeguards at the pool were vigilant and paying attention - again not always the case. The Halloween party was good fun and the entertainment staff put in a lot of effort. Our daughters (aged 7&10) really enjoyed the mini club and junior clubs, as well as the mini discos. We hadn't stayed in Costa Teguise before, and found it to be pleasant.

We knew this was a family Hotel but went anyway as we were let down by another Hotel.
Hotel was full of under 5's and also a few of school age. Biggest problem are some parents who can't or won't control their children.
This spoils it for everyone else.
Hotel itself is excellent incl.food,rooms and public areas.
AI recommended as drink and food prices are expensive and AI covers premium drinks.
All staff in the Hotel are exceptionally helpful and friendly and a real asset to the Hotel.
If you have a young family then it is ideal for you.

Room Tip: Decide what you want in advance and Hotel will try to provide.

Just came back after a 5 day break the room was ok ,most staff were friendly.we were only staying half board if we were to go back would only stay on a room only basis as the food was cold at all meal times as it was we ended up going out just to get a hot meal

We had 8days at this hotel we could not fault anything all staff brilliant and a lovely maid kept our room spotless bar staff great had a great time at the white party disco every one dressed in white food good somthing for everyone and snacks round pool fab bar staff great drinks where all top shelf the best cocktails

We arrived early morning following a swift and painless transfer from Arrecife (ACE) airport.

The hotels reception area was bright, open and full of natural light. We were swiftly welcomed to the hotel and checked in. We were given a map of the hotel and told the information for free WiFi and sent on our way.

To access the rooms first you have to walk past the pool and all the rooms surround the central pool area. Although the main pool has subsequently reopened after its month long closure for maintenance, you can see it is still not completed as you are unable to cross the pool using the bridges and have to circumvent the entire pool in order to get across sides.

The room it’s self was on the third floor and initial first impressions were good. The room was clean but is beginning to show it’s age and some renovations in the near future would not be a miss.

We were a family of 3 and initially our third ‘rollaway’ bed had not been prepared in time for our arrival but when we returned after evening meal this had been performed without the need for prompting.

The only suitable place where the ‘rollaway’ fits is between the sofa and the sliding doors onto the balcony. Whilst normally this wouldn’t be a problem as you are still able to access the balcony as the doors are quite large, in this room the integrated locking system for the balcony doors were broken. The broken locking mechanism had not been repaired instead a simple rudimentary sliding bolt had been screwed to the side of the door.
Whilst this did the job of securing the door to a degree, with the wind which we had every evening blowing against the door there has been constant banging throughout the night. As the bed is positioned next too the door it has provided a very difficult platform in order to achieve unbroken sleep.

Basic facilities that you have become accustomed too and expect wherever your staying let alone in a reported 4* hotel were lacking in the room whilst they have provided you with a mini kitchen (fridge, microwave and coffee machine) there was no kettle or complimentary tea/coffee in order to go with the provided coffee machine.
The fridge whilst a good size had limited practicality as it was difficult to open and close the fridge as the hinge for the door hiding the kitchen was preventing the door from opening and closing freely. There are safes located within the room but these are not included in the cost of your room and are an additional charge payable at reception where they will give you a fob in order to activate your safe.

Generally the housekeeping staff have kept the rooms clean and beds made to an adequate standard.

We stayed half board for our 4 night stay and we were thankful that we hadn’t booked an all inclusive stay.
The food in the main restaurant was well below average and what I would expect in a 4* hotel. The quality of the food on offer was low particularly the breakfast items including the English sausage I would struggle to believe it had a meat content of 40%!
The food every night was repetitive and bland it seemed to be lacking flavour.
Regardless of the time you went to eat early or late into the meal service the food served was always cold I witnessed on more than one occasion people microwaving there meals so that they were at an edible temperature.

We ate out one evening and what a comparison it was nice to have a hot freshly prepared meal and the cost was surprisingly low in hindsight we had wished we’d booked either self catering or B&B as food is far better a short walk away from the hotel.

Overall the hotel does not live up to 4* standards and having stayed at other H10 resorts throughout the world this hotel is deeply lacking.

I would happily return to Lanzarote but never to this hotel
