We arrived 24th May and left on the 7th June.
There were 2 adults and 3 children in our party and we were very happy with our apartment. It sleeps 6 so we stuck the 3 kids on the mezzanine level and my husband and I had the bedroom which suited all.
We were self catering so we had brekkie in the apartment every day enjoying the wonderful view of the bay,the pool and the beautifully kept gardens. The rooms are light and i think we pretty much had everything we needed. Its cleaned every day ,fresh towels when you need them and beds nicely made.
You can spend a lot of time picking fault with anything and I'm not saying everything was perfect but it was for us.Its not a s star hotel but it doesn't pretend to be. I would say its in a great position, walking distance to the shops,Tavernas,Bars, supermarket and Beach. If you read the other reviews many people mention the bay and moan that it isn't crystal clear snorkeling water . Its fine. Its a bay not a beach. You can sit next it and its a lovely view just not perhaps for swimmimg. But you know what there are 10 million other places on Corfu for that so it didn't bother me in the slightest.
Personally i think a car is a must.

We negotiated a great deal for a car (we found most car renters happy to haggle) and went all over the island.
Plenty of parking for your car at Govino apts so no worries there.
Swimming pool great, loved the music from the bar and bar snacks/food all reasonable.
However there is so much to explore and do we didn't spend much time hanging around the pool .But nothing wrong with it if thats what you want to do.
So Govino apts are fab.well we think so.

I really enjoyed my stay here! had a two bedroom apartment with lots of space and while there was no balcony we had a huge window to open with a lovely view so didn't miss it at all. The grounds are immaculate and the pool area was quiet and had plenty of sun loungers. I found the staff really pleasant and had no problems. For the price I paid I honestly don't think I could have got any better. Would definitely stay again.

30 years ago, this hotel would be great. Not anymore. Very expensive for what he offers, it definitely needs renovation. Old and worn materials, old furniture, bad service at the pool. Of course they will make you walk longer to Corfu to stay longer outside the room ...

Room Tip: try the big rooms at the corner

We have four apartments been 20, they are very spacious and cleaned 6 days a week which is lovely , breakfast and the pool are as lovely as you'd expect with the local 7 bus service just outside the complex, only real complaint is the WiFi is not the best but over than that it has been a very pleasant stay!

Stayed here for a week self catering and found it to be really relaxing. Big enough apartments with a huge terrace set in sprawling gardens. The whole place was very clean and rooms were cleaned every day, towels / bedding changed every day as well. The only thing i wasn't impressed with was the cooker. It only had one normal sized hotplate and one very small one which would be of little use if trying to cook meals. This didn't bother us as we are always out and about so only used it as a base. All the staff on site were very helpful and pleasant. Beer was 4euros a pint which is much the same as everywhere else. Eva is a very cheery barmaid. Bus stop is right outside the entrance but the buses dont run to the timetable provided so best to check at reception in advance. Enough eating and drinking places within a 10 minute walk and a decent choice of supermarkets, all with similar prices so not a lot of bargains to be found.
Beach is only a 10 minute walk but it is a pebble beach so may be wise to take beach"shoes" instead of flip flops. Not a lot of entertainment at night but may get better from june onwards. Had a good holiday, met nice peope and had a few good (late) nights in the pub. Had one or two overcast days and the odd shower but mostly good for the end of may so no complaints on that one. Would go back.
