We started off on the hike in the morning and it wasn't too busy on the trail. It got crowded around noon though. The trail snakes alongside of the river the entire way up and so the air is cool and refreshing. Many of the so-called "waterfalls" are actually just man-made dams so won't see the big waterfall until you reach the end of the trail. The water is clear and creates beautiful blue pools. The blue pool with koi swimming in it was one of my favorite spots.
There is a section called "flying mice in the forest "aka a roller coaster that was quite fun actually. It's not very long (maybe 2 minutes?) but if you're looking for a fast and fun way to hike down, I definitely recommend paying for it.
