Yes the road is long and winding but the final destination makes the journey well worth doing. The food was outstanding. My favourite was the penne pasta with sausage.Any dish with the mushrooms is a delight. And to top it all the family were so welcoming.

Recommended and well worthy of an on recommendation. Be aware you have to drive up a steep hill for quite a way and it gets a bit narrow in place. BUT! IT IS WELL WORTH IT.

The view is amazing as you go up and when you arrive. The owner is cheerful, helpful, friendly, great with the kids and all round really nice and wants to please. Thanks Carlo for two great lunches.

The food was amazing. Perfectly cook steaks too big to eat alone. Fresh tasty pasta. More food than we could eat with very generous portions. And if it's not quiet right on the menu don't be afraid to ask. I wanted something like and Carlo was more than happy to make me a mixed Tuna salad even though it wasn't on the menu.

Recently taken to this restaurant by our instructor from the training course i am attending. What a meal, the whole experience from the car journey up to the restaurant, the views and tranquility so peacefull. On entering the restaurant we were met warmly by the Chef. At the table instead of a menu we were informed what the options were and all options sounded very nice. There was a large basket of mushrooms on the table near to ours which we were informed had been freashly picked. They were absolutely massive. We selected several dishes and waited for them to be prepared. After a few minutes the table started filling up with a mouthwatering selection of local meats, cheeses, breads etc. Then we received a plate containing the best mushrooms i have ever tasted. Prepared raw, very thinly sliced with olive oil and parmigiano cheese. The next course of tagliatelle with mushrooms was a delight, the pasta was so light and the sauce so creamy. Luckily there were three of us to share this feast as the main course was still to come. I had ordered the Bisteca which was cooked on an open fire in the corner of the restaurant. When it was brought to the table i couldn't belive the size of it. It was so perfectly cooked the steak melted in my mouth. During the whole meal the service was excellent, we never had to call the waitress over to ask for anything. It was a very enjoyable evening completed with a glass of Limencello. Perfecto. My compliments to our hosts who made that night a night to remember. I hope to come back one day with my wife to show her this amazing place. Grazie Mille

Really characteristic restaurant, with fantastic overview of city of Massa from the hills...
The master will help you with his suggestions, but for sure you should try the "bistecca"... really tender (and huge) piece of t-bone meat served with local mushrooms... different kinds of vine available for your taste... First dishes, bistecca, wine... 45eur/each
Note: in order to get there, be prepared to drive up the hills along one narrow road...
