We were two couples traveling on Motorcycles who were warmly welcomed despite all our dust and gear. In fact my husband and I had the large 4-poster bedroom and had tons of space. Upon arrival we relaxed in a living room set aside just for guests, and enjoyed the fresh, homemade soda bread and tea that Caroline prepared to welcome us. Caroline and Joe are passionate about farming and the food that they produce. Caroline makes you feel like you are part of the family as she gets you feeding the cows, pigs and more pigs. We came away with a greater understanding of Irish culture and farm life along with a good night's sleep in the fresh air.

Rigney's was a really great place in trying to get off the beaten path. Not far away from the nearby town of Adare, the rooms are lovely and the windows open up to stretches of countryside. The farm animals are pure fun and if you choose to participate in feeding them it's even more of an experience. The property is really spacious and cozy at once. Caroline is a fabulous cook and has a deep interest in responsibly sourced food. This is a real treat and I highly recommend a few days to truly enjoy the experience. Thanks again. We hope to come back some day soon!

Room Tip: All the rooms seem to have super pretty views.

We are a Spanish family of 4 who spent two nights at Rigneys. We were looking for a quiet place where we could experience the life in a farm. The experience was great for all the family thanks to Caroline and Joe who made it possible. Breakfast is prepared with products produced in the farm in a sustainable way. You can tell because you can feed the animals and see how they live. We had a great time with Joe going around the farm. Very nice guy !! They built the business from scratch which deserves a lot of credit in my view. Plenty of things to do in the surroundings.

Just home from a totally relaxing fun weekend with our 5 and 7 year old at Rigbeys farm, we had such a blast and really got involved with all aspects of the farm from feeding piglets, ducks, geese and poor little Sucky the orphan calf....the food was fantastic and was made with great commitment to the ethos of ethical farming. The farm is practically in the Curraghchase Forest Park and the beautiful village of Adare with its huge historical significance. Don't want to forget the four dogs who were a pleasure to have as company. Great that we could buy some produce from the farm shop to enjoy at home yum.
Caroline and Joe thanks for everything...........we'll be back.....:-)

We stayed at Rigney's Farm for 3 nights. We wanted to stay outside of the city and get a genuine feel for the Irish countryside. We were using a map and got a little off track when the road no longer had names :) but the scenery was worth seeing and we found our way rather easily.

My face lit up when we were welcomed by the dogs… especially Chief :) Caroline was a gracious host, welcoming us with warm Apple Crisp and fresh cream! Yummy! Breakfasts were PLENTIFUL and delicious and held us over for most of the day so we could explore Adare, play golf and enjoy the scenery. We loved talking to Joe too! Willingly, he answered all of or questions as we followed him around the farm while he fed the pigs ;)

We enjoyed our stay at Rigney's and the genuine Irish Hospitality. Thank you Caroline & Joe!
