Locating the reception counter is difficult as it is located few blocks away from the club house. The security guards are friendly and helpful to directing our way. The apartment is nice equipped with 3 bedrooms. 1 room at the entrance level with an open kitchen, living room, balcony and 2 rooms at the upper level.
The place is cooling and equipped with Astro for TV channels viewing. Overall is a great stay at the apartment and it is definitely a safe place for car owners.

I recommended Room 408 in my review 8 months ago - I got this room last Saturday =)

As expected, views were fantastic as it was a corner unit, so we had extra windows to enjoy the views from. Quiet surroundings despite being a weekend was a bonus.

Breakfast did not offer a lot of variety, but everything prepared tasted good.

Room was tidy and spacious; the single beds were nearly as big as queen beds. TV channels were sufficient, appliances worked, bathroom was above average, and the price for a weekend was just nice.

Forgot to check certain things e.g. the free wifi, fridge, and the safe. didn't really care about them anyway.

This has now become my go-to hotel whenever I come to Genting Highlands =)

Room tip: If you're on a budget, choose Room 408

This was one of our repeate visits to Genting View Resort. The main highlights that usually leads us to choosing GVR is the location which is within close proximity to food and conveniences at Gohtong area while being away from the hustle and bustle of the city that never sleeps.

The rooms are good as well. Nicely decorated, spacious & properly furnished. My wife spends a fair amount of hours lazing on the daybed and looking out from the balcony. GVR has no shortage of land space to roam around, perfect for families with kids. They also have some team building activities as well as conference rooms for company events.

The biggest setback of our room is the ceiling fan which is mounted too close to the ceiling and produces no winds whatsoever & the need for an air conditioning unit to cool the room down. Other than that, it ticks all our boxes.

This is a must visit place whilst in Malaysia. High up in the mountains. The new cable cars are a amazing experience. The cost is very reasonable. Whist inside the park is going through a massive re-building. The old parts are still open and plenty of fun to be had.
