The room is spacious. The twin beds were big and comfortable. There is more than enough space to add another bed if you want to. Most importantly, it is clean and new. The toilet has two shower heads with one being the 'rain' shower which is quite nice. The hotel is not too near to the buzz and activities of the theme park to feel overcrowded but near enough to walk easily to all attractions.

Having stayed in First world hotel and theme park hotel previously, I must say I love resort world for the zen- ness feel to the rooms. Traveling with small kids means comfort is an absolute must. Since the casinos are not part of the itinerary, we would spend most of our time trekking to and fro first world theme park and coming home to the room feels just heavenly. Think : trolleys, carrying of kids, up and down escalators and more escalators, lunging along milk containers..just so we can jostle crowds of people (peak season is horrid. The raya holidays were much better than the last school holiday) and queue for hours at mini rides...

Why is the walk to first world so far away??! Maybe without kids......

Food is overpriced and just so so. I have become fond of this lil herbal shop for soups (just around the corner after you go up the escalators from resort world , and go past the monte Carlo casino).I can't place the name. But I liked the bah kut teh and herbal soups. It was pretty satisfying, but then I do like hot soups in chilly weather....:)

Don't go during the school holidays, do bring your own snacks, do check out the food at the mushroom farm and even the restaurants at gohtong jaya(pls dun order fish. How pricey can it be?! Obviously VERY). Otherwise...enjoy...

Room tip: Non smoking rooms can be requested. Plus if there's anything you need, just speak to one of the ladies outside with their trolleys...super helpful...

nice hotel with decent lobby
most facilities within walking distance
their bellman were really helpful but their reception seems rushing thru their process (what can you say, when they are all sooooo busy with check in & out)

Room tip: get the high floor with city view - you will be able to see the beautiful lights (KL city) if the weather permits during the night

This was the second destination of our honeymoon. We were wow'ed by Bali earlier & didnt expect much from Genting. But to our surprize we loved this place too. Its different concept with the resort, amusement parks, casino, food & shopping everything under one roof.

We were initially confused by the different elevators. But later got used to the signs. Our room was lavish and gave a nice view of the amusement park. As much as there is fun & frenzy on the outside, the room was equally cozy & comfortable. The breakfast included was worth taking. Other Indian restaurants which we tried iwhile at Genting are not recommended. The staff was polite & helpful. The ambience was grand.

We stayed here just for a night but yearned for more. I would hihly recommend this hotel as its value for money as well as luxurious as compared to the other hotels in the resort.

Paid S$120 for a night. Location is ok, take 3 escalator to the casino.
Take the 'car park' lift down to B5 for more economical meals, mini mart.
Room- spacious, neat but a bit out dated. hope they change modern carpet..
Service- good, ask for extra chair and the room service obliged .
Car park- multi storey with small lots. Remember well where have you park, it is quite confusing if first time.
Location- near to the bigger casino. but not so much amusment for kids compare to First World.

I would say it is more up-market for relaxation.
