We were there with our children for a weekend. The hotel is amazing with great facilities but it’s on a downward trend as service is going down and nothing seems to work
The staff are least bothered and have an attitude
Our room Aircon was not working despite complaining
The WiFi password was given after arguing with reception team for an hour
Food is not amazing very simple buffet spread you better off visiting papa remo touching the hotel
So we feel it’s not worth the money the charge

We really enjoyed 4 nights spent here as relaxation after a week's safari. It seems that a majority of overseas guests are Italian, so we were perhaps something of a novelty to the staff – whom we found to be very helpful and friendly – by only speaking English.

The location is why we selected this resort originally, and it did not disappoint. The bay is sheltered by 7 little rocky islands, which means that the water is quite calm and most of the litter is kept away to leave a lovely clean beach. At low tide it is possible to walk out to the islands, which have their own little sand bars and beaches when the water recedes. While it is possible to poke around in the shallows with a mask and snorkel, there is not really very much to see in this particular bay, even though the Watamu and Malindi marine parks are nearby. For decent snorkelling it is better to go on a proper trip. The resort has its own sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach, with staff on hand to keep an eye on them so that there was no fear of things disappearing if we were off swimming or at lunch.

The meals we had were all buffet-style, with a variety of cold, hot and cooked to order options, covering various styles of cuisine. We found the range and quality to be absolutely fine.

The all-inclusive tariff took a little while to work out. Some local drinks were included at meal times (a particular brand of local beer, house wine and a wider selection of soft drinks) but only a subset of soft drinks was included at other times without incurring extra charges. Teas and coffees at meal times were included, as well as afternoon tea at 5pm, unless the coffee was from the fancy espresso machine, in which case it was extra. Plenty of chilled water from water coolers was available, in the restaurant and at the poolside bar.

There was a busy schedule of entertainments and other activities, ranging from aqua aerobics and water polo in the pool to quizzes (in Italian) and cultural performances in the evening. A lot of these events seemed to be aimed mainly at tour groups on packages, but the entertainments manager, Lennox, did a good job of being inclusive, encouraging participation by everyone who wanted to join in.

Room Tip: Sea views are good.

We were 4 families with children, we stayed for two nights, , my family stayed in 410 and 411, the rooms were hospitable.
The pool was great fun ,and hotel grounds were well landscaped and very soothing.
The magic begins when you visit the Papa Remos restaurant. The most amazing beach ambience I have ever experienced, good food and drinks and excellent service by Khoya and team. You can spend days here without much to do, pure relaxation.
Nighttime entertainment included a solo musician from Italy, this was a highlight of the trip too, excellent performer, full of talent and energy.
Well done 7islands, we will be coming back.

First time here and we were given hospital tags during check in. Feels like I’m in a hospital with a good view lol. But it doesn’t cost much to brand the tags the hotel name does it?
Breakfast was good. Rooms very clean.
