Familiar type of restaurant with parking just outside their premises. Good selection of dishes from regional cuisine, well prepared and served by their amicable staff. Original wine selection form local wineries complement their dishes. Select something from the dish of the day menu.

We wouldn't have known of this lovely restaurant if our local friends did not bring us here.

Chef-owner, Stefano, was an incredible host and it would be remiss, not to also praise his culinary skills.

Everything from the recommended wine to dessert made us a perfect dinner. Stefano even obliged our request for black truffle pasta that was not on his menu.

If your Italian friend offers to drive you to this fine restaurant, do not turn it down!

As an Amarone lover I simply adore this place. A beautiful cellar full of Amarone ranging from Quintarelli, Dal Forno to my favourite Bussola and all the nice brands in Valpolicella. The restaurant has a big terrace and a fantastic view. We went there for lunch. We picked the snails, the mixed tomata and the steam dried cod as appetizers, tortelli with Amarone sauce, mixed grill with Amarone and veal with tuna sauce. All match well with Amarone. Service is attentive. Stefano is the only waiter but he is so efficient, helpful and attentive with his limited English. I guess every guest loves him. What a great lunch to start our day.

We spotted this restaurant when arriving in the area going towards the Agritourismo we had booked for three nights. We left waiting for 3.5 hrs by our supposed hosts to open so decided to drive to the restaurant as my wife had spotted that they have rooms available too. We were greeted warmly and within 2 mins found ourselves following the chef in her car to Dormire alla Ruota, Relais di Campagna some 2km away in Mazzano.
The guest house was opened just for us - an amazing find with a great breakfast and a very comfortable room. We spent two nights there on our own in utter tranquility enjoying wines from the winery (Viviani) the owner recommended some 200m away.
We drove back to the restaurant to be greeted wonderfully by the owners and two excellent waiters. The food was one of the best experiences we have had in Italy and the setting stunning. My wife asked for vegetarian food and the team were outstanding at recommending and delivering just as she required. The waiter who spoke very little English just smiled and brought us a fabulous bottle of Valpolicella Superiore created by the Telos winery that was free from Sulphites....it was nectar!
Great hosts delivering an outstanding experience.

This is a restaurant way up on the hill above Verona in Amarone wine country. It is owner operated by some very nice people and the prices are shockingly cheap for the quality of the food. They make a pasta which uses Amarone wine and ends up wine colored. They have some amazing gnocchi and the Tagliata of beef is solid as well. Be sure to check out the wine cellar. Beautiful views as well from the deck over the entire valley.
