damage to pool held together by tape + pool needs a clean - otherwise 5* for air con; linen; food; staff (especially so - team fantastic - nothing too much trouble); great location in the middle of the marina but you need a car for the fab beaches all around; restaurant not open monday and Tuesday which was a great disappointment and inconvenience but lunch by the pool outstanding

Room Tip: there is a resuarant above some of the rooms and you can hear the chairs and people moving about - doesn't last long but definitely audible

Many thanks to let us know your opinion. Indeed, with our famous wind 'Mistral', from one day to another, the pool can get some sand and others needles pine. The great location, on a peninsula, can offer you a peaceful place, surrounded only by beautiful boats and marinas. Five minutes driving, you can join the three nearest beaches. Spinaker Restaurant team highly works each day in Season ;-) So, in late summer, on monday and tuesday, we are pleased to introduce you some others typical establishments, close to our. Your satisfaction is ours. So, we will be happy to welcome you for an next stay 100 % satisfied !

We stopped here overnight having arrived in the area and used trip advisor to locate a suitable place to stay. I can confirm the reviews were accurate and the place is excellent. The rooms are arranged in a single story arrangement in blocks or 10 or so. Like private cabanas around the circular shaped pool. This is what I would call quaint and boutique compared to the larger tourist type hotel in the area. A really nice place to relax and with fantastic views of the boats in the marina.

The restaurant is also excellent. Ok we were stopped by on a Friday evening on October and it was pretty quite but they have a huge outside deck area to accommodate greater numbers in summer.

Finally the staff. Service was friendly and excellent. The receptionist was happy to give us a tour of all of the available rooms before we made out choice and the restaurant staff were very helpful in recommending from the menu.

Breakfast is a bit pricy at 15 Euros per person and whilst they provide a fair amount to eat, (and it can be delivered to your room to eat on you own private terrace), you would be struggling to eat everything supplied every day.

Parking and WiFi were both inclusive as was private use of the Hottub/SPA.

Room Tip: All the rooms appear well laid out and vary in size and price, so it really comes down to you budget. Low season prices start from Nov thru to end of Feb.

What excellent sum up ! Do not hesitate to come back as soon as the sun is shining in order to benefit outside activities in Le Grau du Roi/Port-Camargue or maybe to go and lunch in our Restaurant 'Garden Grill' or why not have a swim in our heated swimming-pool ?!
Nevermind, winter, summer or on the season of your choice ... It always be a real pleasure to welcome you !

We stumbled across this little place whilst touring the south of France in June. we had emailed the hotel on the off chance they had a room and they gave us a fabulous last minute discounted rate. The hotel itself is tucked away through the Marina at Port Carmargue and once you arrive you are pleasantly surprised to find a pretty little hotel with the rooms arranged around the pool area. The place is spotless, the rooms are a fair size, each one is themed with a different destination or city and the furnishings and beds are comfortable. The BEST BIT?.... Breakfast served on the patio outside your room, next to the pool, choose from an extensive breakfast menu and ring the restaurant with your order, it is delivered within 15 minutes to your door! Perfect! There is an incredible restaurant at the hotel too as well as plenty of really great value places to eat in the local towns. The hotel is a 2 mile walk to the beach through the vast marina and once you arrive it is pleasant and uncrowded. the only downside, if there is one, is the wind, which in June was quite strong. But I would imagine if it was as windy in the summer it would be a welcome relief from the heat of the sun!

Many thanks for this so lovely rave ! We will be pleased to welcome you once again ... Maybe this summer ... You could enjoy the heated swimming-pool, the outside restaurant 'Garden Grill' or a room-service meal in the private terrace of the room ... Of course, you could also attest that a little wind is a welcome relief from the heat of the sun !

We have stayed four times during the last 3 years in the Spinnaker – usually 3-4 days. We always had lunch in the Garden Grill by the pool and dinner in the restaurant (3 Michelin toques). The place is very relaxing with extremely short ways and a nice atmosphere with beaches less than 2km away. Great for travelling with kids as there is a small pool where many rooms have direct access to. The normal rooms are small but you can always go for the bigger suites or have two rooms with a connecting door. Stylish interior and lots of maintenance over last year upgrade the room which are still with a sliding door in the bathroom only which is a bit of a drawback. Be careful which room to book – some are overlooking the pool, others the Marina – with kids the ones on the pool side are more convenient. You can have breakfast on your own terrace which is quite nice – it never took more than few minutes to arrive. The garden grill is open from Mid June to September offering a wide menu and daily specials including a nice lobster. Small but good wine-list from the region and delicious ice cream. The restaurant has a small menu only – reasonably priced but only few main dishes who are the same throughout the season. Quality is good and the style is innovative – mix of French cuisine with some Spanish influence. Wine list shrank over last year as they do not have a sommelier anymore. Still good selection from the region at reasonable prices. Nice staff, very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back next year.
