The room (a suite) was absolutely lovely, impeccably clean and everything almost new. Very comfortable bed, great air conditioning and peaceful with a lovely view of the marina. The electric blackout shutters were great for when you want to sleeping in a bit longer.

The pool was a welcome place to float around in on the big and very comfortable pool bean bags. I would have liked to have seen a jacuzzi or a spa pool also.

The location is far enough away from the bustle to be quieter yet you still feel a part of the action. We didn't eat at the hotel during our stay but the restaurant looked lovely so will save that for our next trip.

Will definitely revisit the Spinaker for another stay.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a group of friends. It has been re-furbished this year with most rooms having had a complete re-design and a new pool deck, restaurant and bar added. The setting is lovely with many of the rooms either facing out onto the pool with a private terrace or onto the marina, again with a private terrace. We all loved this hotel and the reception staff, Carine, Naldrie and Helene were all extremely helpful. The owner was much in evidence too - keen to ensure his guests were looked after. We were most grateful to also be able to have our boat moored right on the hotel's quay making it very convenient to go out and explore each day.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool, i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 are all good. Or for a larger room/suite, choose...

A great little town off the beaten track on the Mediterranean. There must be more then 4,000
Sailing boats moored here. A very picturesque port town on top of all this .
Le Spinaker has a great restaurant and you can get push bikes to ride around the district.

Again we found ourselves making a bit of a last minute booking and Le Spinaker was a small detour and seemed decent enough at first website glance. In reality, the place looks a bit like hotel Citroen from the film The Life Aquatic, if you haven't seen it Hotel Citroen is a run down dump! Le Spinaker looks like it was given its last lick of paint in the seventies and smells a bit stale as well. Rooms (we saw another one before grudgingly accepting the room we are currently inhabiting) are small and a bit dark, they look like the cabin of a thirty year old motorboat, maintained on a budget, wooden planks adorn the ceiling but the gaps allow a view of the cobwebby void between the wood and the real ceiling. The fixtures and fittings are old, ugly, cheap and worn. The taps in the bathroom don't work properly and the bath itself is minuscule, there is no shower curtain or cubicle so when one takes a shower (standing in the bath, holding the shower head) the bathroom quickly looks like a tropical storm has passed through. The corridors are dark and painted like an aquarium, in an unironic way. The staircase up to the restaurant is like that of a tacky nightclub, snazzy music wafts through the room, I wasn't born in the seventies but this is exactly how I imagine it to be. The restaurant is physically very hot but has quite a cold atmosphere, lots of hard surfaces, it's not in the least bit inviting. Our delightful waiter took three attempts to make a half reasonable G&T, no joke. The first had no ice and was drowned in tonic. The second had a full lime in each glass and was therefore green and totally undrinkable, the third was ok but still could have been better. I didn't complain again for fear I might reduce him to tears. Main courses of sole meunière and lobster were absolutely excellent. Faultless and delicious. Dessert was, however, not good at all. What's worse than alcohol flavored chocolate? Cherry flavored chocolate isn't great, not is orange flavored chocolate, nor is liqueur but by far the worst flavoring a chef can give chocolate is chilli, rendering it instantly inedible. It was fashionable a few years ago to add chilli to just about everything, thankfully most people came to their senses and ditched this unpopular habit, not the chef at Le Spinaker who still thinks this is trendy. It's not. Chilli flavored anything is disgusting. What's shocking is that this place is recommended by Michelin and the Château & Hotels collection. Both are highly regarded for their quality. This place is not worth a second glance, even if it's on your route and you're knackered, go elsewhere. Unless you're a medallion wearing, seventies nightclub owner you will not enjoy it.

We stopped off here by boat to view the hotel as we have friends coming down to stay in September. We liked the ambiance so much, we decided to stay for lunch! It was a lovely sunny day and the restaurant adjacent to the pool was a lovely spot. The food was tasty and very good. The wine was good too! Service friendly and helpful.
