This is an unpretentious but tastefully decorated corner restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating, and if you are in the mood for tasty Philly Steak Cheese type food they deliver. They use "lomo" tenderloin as their meat and it shows. I had a beef Kebab "al plato" (i.e. without the tortilla); it was a huge dish with lots of great meatbits and a a side of french fries in a nice pink kebab-type sauce. They also make tacos and "chivitos" (the closest to a Phily steak cheese sandwich) with the same high quality meat, they just change the add-ons and the sauce. They also offer pizza, we just didn't have a chance to try it. For beverages they have sodas and a few beers including Stella and Zillertal (my faves in Uruguay). The desert selection is mainly cake-type deserts; the best in my view is the "imperial rusa" (a bombshell of a desert with bits of meringue, cream etc.) If that's not enough you can cross the street to Alfredito, a nice italian-style cream shop. Bottom line: the place has a nice groove, and if you are in the mood for some satisfying greasy grill food with great Uruguayan meat it will hit the spot.
