I went with 3 of my friends and we sat outside with a view of the harbour. The fish literally comes from the boat to your table.

The waiters were lovely and very attentive.

We picked here based on trip advisor reviews and the fact it was not directly on the strip with all the hosts trying to get you in their restaurant.

We were immediately excited when we saw locals going in to eat.

We had 2 starters to share between 4, grilled prawns (they don't hold back on garlic!) and the steamed mussels (which are huge!) we also had bread which came with all these delicious garlic dipping sauces. (Garlic is a running theme)

For main we had a huge local fish to share between 3 and my other friend had the grilled squid.

We didn't have dessert but the waiter brought over a shot of honey rum for the road and a lolly each.

The food was so good we're planning to go back for our last night and have things off the menu we missed!

A Definite must! do not get sucked into average restaurants with hosts outside trying to sell their menu to you... the food should sell itself.

Our total bill came to €73 euros inc. wine

Great food at a very good price and quality ratio. Very friendly staff. The meals are traditional Canarian and extremely fresh. The restaurant is located right on the harbor of Puerto del Carmen.

Fish restaurant situated on the harbour front in the old "La Tinosa" harbour of PDC. This really is a fish restaurant and although we didn't try the meats the selection would be limited. That said, the fish we had was absolutely excellent - we had the "fish of the day" for two people and easily had enough for us both. The waiters were very friendly and knowledgeable and even went to the extent of showing us the fish prior to cooking so I don't understand comments of "small portions". The price came to the same as 2 steaks would so we were happy with the price. If you're after fish give this a try.

One of the best restaurants in Puerto del Carmen!
We went for dinner and they offered to us some different fish of the day. The food was outstanding, the fish was excellent and the service was also very good.
Note that they charge for bread, terrace service and the fish of the day is not on the menu, first check prices with the waiter.
Don't bother if the main entrance seems to "risky", you'll find nice restaurant in there with great view.
Anyway, this is one of the best places around, so it def worths a visit!

Be aware that fish of the day is the most expensive fish they offer and that 'huge' size of it isn't that huge for 2 people. With the fish you'll get only 1 slice tomato, 1 slice cucumber per person and a little bit of cabbage and potatoes. For about 17 euros per person it's not enough. Also, we needed to pay for bread we didn't ask for. Normally it's free so we had the feeling that this restaurant is focusing only about the money and that's really sad. By the way, they didn't put enough cutlery on the table for bread and the main, so it's the same knife :D
