Set away from the main promenade in a little back street, away from the bustly road. We enjoyed a white fish starter, followed by a goats cheese and spinach pastry, and pork cheeks. Flavoursome food, and (mainly) wonderful wine. I was recomended a glass of local wine which really wasn't good and was disappointed to see this on my bill when I had asked to change it for something else. When we politely enquired about this, the waiter begrudgingly removed it from the bill, which left a slightly sour taste in the mouth after an otherwise faultless meal. The bill for two came to €53 including 2 drinks each.

My friend and I went into the wine shop to get a bottle of locally produced white on our way back from the beach to enjoy on our balcony when we got back to our apartment.
The lady who served us had very good English and recommended Bermejo seco, and gave us a chilled bottle from the restaurant and the loan of a cork screw which we could return another day, excellent customer service so we decided to book a table for that evening to try some tapas.
The wine was very enjoyable so we ordered a bottle on return that evening with a selection of tapas, prawns with fresh vegetables and couscous, prawns and mushrooms in garlic oil, pigs cheeks, all were delicious especially the couscous. We were served by the lady's charming son that evening enjoyed the meal so much went back a second time before end of the holiday.

After a slightly odd start overall this restaurant served some of the best food in our three week stay. It is a small cafe with mostly outside tables, perhaps a little chilly so you might need a jumper in the winter months. We arrived to be asked what we wanted to drink, but there is no wine list and no real guidance as to what was available and at what price, other than to walk into the adjacent shop for a look around, so we were left guessing a little. They really need a bit of a list, even if it’s just on paper. But we needn't have worried, because when we just asked for Rioja, the one we were served with was a very good example. The food is Tapas, but then again it isn’t. All the dishes are Tapas style but the menu is structured in three phases, with the final phase being slightly more substantial dishes, not large enough to stand alone as a main dish though. We were a bit confused by this at first and ordered a little haphazardly. The quality of the food was execeptional though, each dish had a unique edge. Service was excellent after the initial confusion, and prices were reasonable, mid-range, even the wine is not over priced given it's high standard. Overall a great experience, and next time we will know the drill!

My partner and I enjoyed some local red wine and tasty tapas here one evening on our holidays. Plenty of Spanish locals were eating here which is always a good sign. Excellent value for money with a glass of wine costing €3.50. We will return when we are next on the island.

This is not a place you should go if you are in a hurry. The waiter couldn't have been nicer. But it took awhile to get menus, go to shop and pick out requisite bottles of wine, get our order I and food served. There was a very charming duo playing music, food was delicious , and we were happy. We Went twice.
