This hotel exceeded our expectations, the food was to die for even the desserts were high quality and not the usual tasteless sugar rush. We managed to get a bed every day without having to reserve one. There were plenty of sun beds at all times and it’s ridiculous to expect to get one in the sun all day long, some holiday makers obviously do not realise the sun moves throughout the day.
Our room was lovely with a huge balcony and brilliant shower, comfy bed and good storage. The entertainment was excellent too. I can not praise this hotel enough, book it you won’t regret it. THANK YOU

There were lots of good points regarding the hotel. All staff worked really hard and were always polite and friendly. Our room was on the 7th floor and more than comfortable and clean. The food in the buffet restaurant was good and each evening it was a different country themed buffet. We ate in the a la carte restaurant and enjoyed that too.
The animation team worked very hard and were always very enthusiastic. The entertainment in the evenings was excellent...Rolling Stones, Abba, comedian etc!
We would not return to the hotel for 1 reason and that was the system regarding the sun beds. Unless you went out at 830 to reserve a sunbed, you would not get a sunbed in the sun. There are more than enough sun beds but unfortunately a chunk of the area does not get the sun until 1130am. There are signs up asking people not to do this...but they do & I am not exaggerating when I say people sprint to the sun beds as the doors are opened at 830am. On our first morning I spoke to Customer Services regarding this (as we couldn't get a sunbed in the sun at 850 as 50% had towels on them) The customer services response was "it was ok to reserve beds before breakfast and then go off for a couple of hours". She said they tried to stop it happening , but there wasn't much evidence of this. A couple next to us reserved a bed at 830 & did not go on it till midday every day. Very occasionally a sign was put on a bed asking for them not to be reserved but the towels were never removed.
Sadly we had to play the game! I don't want to have to set my alarm every morning on holiday to get a sunbed.
The management will say they try to sort it, but I'm my opinion very little was done. This is a pity because apart from this it was a really good hotel.

In the first place, we need to express you our gratitude for your trust in choosing Hovima Costa Adeje hotel to spend your recent holiday and letting us know about your opinion which is of the greatest importance for us. Furthermore, we are pleased that most services have fullfilled your needs but we are really sorry about the negative issue you have mentioned.

Additionally, it is very important to inform you that your comfort is essential for us and we need to apply service systems so that our guests enjoy our facilities. Moreover, we need to explain that we are aware about the problematic of leaving towels first time in the morning to guarantee the prefered place. Considering that we need to be flexible and our main target is your comfort and satisfaction, we allow people to choose their favorite place. However, what we can not accept is to leave the towel on the sunbed with no use for long hours and this is what we kindly ask our clients to respect in order to offer nice and fair Quality Service for all the guests.

We can assure you that Management is analysing all your impressions and studying the corrective measures to apply in order to continue ameliorating and be able to offer memorable experiences in Hovima Costa Adeje.

We do hope that this issue does not deter you form choosing us in the not distant future and have the pleasure to offer your our best attention.

This is a very nice hotel, with great location. All staff in the hotel were excellent and couldn't be more helpful, polite and courteous. The buffet restaurant food was very good, with lots of options. The ocean restaurant food was outstanding. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, with the animation team working really hard. We upgraded to the excellence package and found this was worth the money but the only disappointment was the room didn't overlook the pool area which we thought was better than us looking at building and other hotels. Also no attention to your check out time, which we think should be included in the excellence package. Overall this is an excellent hotel , we had an amazing holiday and definitely stay here again .

Room Tip: Pool view.

Four visits - four total chillouts!
Adults Only - All-Inclusive - 25 minutes from airport - Quiet Pools - Friendly Staff - Close to amenities - plenty of sunbeds - All staff English-speaking - very clean rooms and everywhere else - decent price!

Room Tip: Go for a 'superior room' - better view/space

We stayed at the Hovima Hotel in Costa Adeje as part of a group of 6 adults and was really impressed with all aspects of our hotel stay. All staff we encountered were incredibly friendly and could not have been more helpful. The hotel was constantly being cleaned and great attention to detail was taken (we even saw a member of staff meticulously lining up the chairs in the bar area!). The bar area itself has plenty of seating of various designs and is large enough to enable you to sit close to or far away from the evening entertainment. The restaurant was great with good quality food and more variety from night to night than is usually the case (many nights have a different country theme). We also visited the A La Carte restaurant twice and this was a very special experience with bespoke service and great food. The hotel is brilliantly located close to the promenade, sea and bus links, and the views from the room/restaurant/sun loungers over the mountains and sea were brilliant! Thoroughly recommend it!
