Clean hotel with nice staff. Unfortunately the food is really terrible. Breakfast is poor and the food in snackbar and during diner is cheap and not looking and tasting good.

Rooms are clean and ok, but depends where situated. Some rooms are very noisy and warm, because they have all day sun.

Stayed: September 2016

The room offered beds, endless hot water, a fridge (if we paid for it) and a Tv, but it was nothing special. The food was plentiful but lacked inspiration and did nothing to promote Greek or international cuisine. The staff were fine, the hotel's location good and the pool clean and a good size.

There was nothing to complain about, but the Continental Palace lacked any real spark and was rather dated as far as others go, though it's public spaces are very good. We had a happy holiday and enjoyed Kos town which is a short walk away along the sea front. I would not want to put people off, for the money it's fine.

First of all hotel has AMAZING staff. Everybody works there really well.
Location is good as well. About 15 min from the very city center, in front of hotel is pebbly beach, bike rent office, taverna ( which i couldn't recommend cuz, its cheap, but food is awful).
Pool area is also good, a lot of sun beds, clean and spacious pool.
Rooms i could say rather tired, but you got what you pay for.
Food is normal, on breakfast you will find eggs, ham, cheese, few types of bread, tomato, cucumber, yogurts, cereals, biscuits, sometimes pancakes or cheese pie, waffles.
On dinner always a lot of vegetables, one type of soup (everyday was different), fish or seafood, pork, beef, lamb, chicken and of course one dish is always something traditional (like mousaka, souvilaki and etc). Always maybe 4 - 6 different deserts, and ice creams.
On dinner time you need to pay extra for drinks (3,3 eur for big bottle of table water, or 15 eur for nice wine).
If its your birthday or any other aniwersary the hotel sends you a fruit plate to your rooms with wishes and makes you a happy birthday delicious cake.
In conclusion i could say hotel is worth the money you pay. I would recommend it for all type of age guests.

Room Tip: sea side rooms, but i could say everyroom there is good

We have just returned from two lovely weeks at this hotel on Kos. We arrived at the Continental Palace late on 02nd August, to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary on 03rd August. We received a very warm welcome and were dealt with promptly and efficiently.

The Hotel is perfectly located on the outskirts of Kos Town and takes about 15 minutes to walk into the town.

Although the hotel rooms may look a little tired and could use a little modernising, the rooms were comfortable with the added bonus of air conditioning making those hot humid nights that little bit more comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily and linen changed every two/three days.

The food at the hotel was very good most of the time, with plenty of choice for adults and children with a good selection of Greek Dishes on the menu and plenty of puddings and ice creams to suit all tastes.

The staff at the hotel are fantastic and would do anything to ensure you enjoy your stay. Irene at the Reception Desk is an absolute legend and cannot do enough to please hotel guests.

Just across the road from the hotel is a small rocky, shingly beach which wouldn't suit most people but is perfect for snorkelling and hanging out with the locals. Next to this are some man made beaches which are sandy with runways out to the water. For 5 euros you can get 2 sunbeds, a parasol, free wifi and two bottles of water which is a pretty good deal.

The pool and pool bar at the Continental Palace are fantastic, the pool and pool area is immaculate and the food and drink on offer at the pool bar is fantastic.

Room Tip: Rooms on third floor offer the best views

The staff are very friendly and so very helpful.
The hotel is clean but tired and in places even a bit shabby.
The food was good, always something for even the fussiest of eaters but ran out of anything nice.
A lovely relaxing holiday, no evening entertainment apart from a Greek night, which was just about ok so not that many children even in August
