On our visit to North Wales stopped for one night. Looked covid safe with entry/exit only at reception sealed packs of tea/milk/coffee etc screens and plenty of hand sanitisation about. The staff were friendly on check in. We had booked a superior room, and to be honest we were disappointed when we went in. The room was pretty bare but the furnishings were old, marked and had damage to most items, the bathroom had black mold at various points around the seal of the bath and in between the tiling was grimey the bath was marked and dust built up around the back of the sink. The hot water run great but the cold tap was really slow so it took ages to run a bath. The bed was two joined together so in the middle had a horrible seam to sleep on. We did consider leaving but the staff reduced our rate 50% which we were surprised at. The breakfast all though had to order it through reception night before was great, served by friendly helpful staff. Would we stay again No, but would we visit to dine and have breakfast Yes.

Stayed here for one night. Family room was large with plenty of space and a good bathroom which was disabled friendly.

They are following the Covid19 guidelines and felt very safe.

Plenty of choice for dinner which we prebooked. Incident at dinner with a guest nearly choking the staff and particularly the waiter dealt with it in a very professional manner and to be honest was outstanding.

Tea/coffee and toiletries were available for the room when checking in with plenty of each and topped up if requested.

Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again especially for the price and helpful staff.

Just got home after our army reunion which has been at the Oriel for the past 6 years, and once again the hotel did us proud. The rooms have been recently decorated, and the beds are clean and comfortable. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Looking forward to next year
