The apartment is exactly what you see from the photos, exceptional views of Lake Como from the balcony. The location is quiet and peaceful but not far by car to shops and restaurants. It is clean and well maintained with all the facilities required for cooking, etc. The owner was readily available to respond to issue about gas and arranged for the problem to be sorted as soon as was possible. The wifi worked fine, however those guests requiring a higher download capacity, it should be noted it is not unlimited. Overall, it was a fabulous apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Definitely recommended.

We spent 10 days in Bella Dorio, we had a fabulous time there. The view is amazing and constantly changes with the weather, as does the Lake Como itself, with all the different activities that seem to take place on the lake.
The apartment itself is very comfortable and has all the creature comforts, although we didn't watch the TV once, how could you with a view like that!!!!!
The apartment is at the top of a hill, which we drove up and down, but you can walk it if you wish. Within a few mins driver you have Bellano and Varena which are both beautiful, then ferry rides to Menaggio and Bellaggio which are also fantastic. Best to buy a all day ticket for 15 euros each (walk on passenger) but you can use the ferries as much as you like.
We found that the best ice cream is in Menaggio but where ever you buy ice cream from, it makes ice cream over here in the uk second class. We had a fantastic time and this was in the main to the apartment. Its fantastic. If you fancy a stay at Lake Como, there cant be many better than Bella Dorio, Its Perfecto....
