We’ve been for the first time at Jali cafe and waited 30min to get our order taken, then 30min again for the food to arrive (food which was good). On that specific day, we were upset but figured as it was Eid maybe this was an unusual thing.
We decided to give it a second try and went back again, so this time we didn’t wait too long for a waiter to take our order. A table next to us burst out when they asked where the food they ordered an hour ago was and the waiter said they forgot (not a good sign when you’re running a business!).
Our starters arrived and we waited for 40min to received our mains. Wondering what was happening, we asked the waiter who said that they ran out the the specific item (fried rice...). Nobody even bothered to tell us they would not be able to deliver.
This is such a shame especially as the location is nice but the “management” (if you can even call them that..) is a disaster.
If you actually want to eat, avoid this place at all cost and go to the restaurants next door.

Good food, full tasty juices, service ok. Here we tasted sasak food from Lombok.
Plates come well served, with good amount of food.

This place is by ocean and great spot to have lunch/dinner. It wasn’t
always crowded which was good for solo traveler(I prefer low-key vibe.)

I ate 3 Times here and everything was great! Curry was much tasty than at Mallias Restaurant where the price is more than double.

If you wanna try more local place than westernized restaurants, then this is the place to try:)

Lovely spot with the classic Meno view of Air, which you should get used to because you’ll be staring at it for aaages while you wait for your food. Almost 1 hour to make Urap-urap chicken, and on a quiet day. Tastes good though would be nice to eat at the same time as my partner.
