Beautiful accommodation, the best on the whole island... without a doubt! I don't think any of the other resorts have such a beautiful aesthetic as here. Fantastic HUGE pool, peaceful location, just stunning... we were so happy to stay, very romantic...and the staff were lovely. It's the sort of place that never failed to put a smile on my face and always made me think 'wow' from the moment I arrived and every time I returned after a day out.
The only thing I felt a little disappointed with was the restaurant. It was beautiful and so appealing and the food was good but slightly disappointed at how expensive it was (a bottle of water costing 25k!) safe to say we ate out once we realised there where cheaper places nearby - (breakfast was £5 each for a buffet and we are vegetarian and vegan so the choices were halve for us). I don't feel like there was that much choice on the menu compared to other resorts too after having a wonder and nosey at similar hotel menus. Some of the staff recommended a local cafe nearby where main dishes were between 20-40k (£1-2) and breakfast 15k (75p) so we went there instead.
The resort is only a short walk from the beach and a variety of restaurants, free bikes and snorkelling gear was great. To walk around the whole island is less than 3 miles so the people complaining about 'location'... Not that big of a deal, five minutes and your by the beach. Literally a short walk from anywhere and I prefer being tucked away, it's a very private resort - you don't get people just walking through the hotel grounds as you would at a beach side location.
The organised transport from Bali was very good and we didn't have to worry about a thing (around £35pp from Seminyak - 2 hour taxi, two boats and horse and cart). We had a pool bungalow and it was beautiful, very comfortable too, wifi was great, TV with hundreds of channels. The only thing (which was a bit awkward) was that the bathrooms are attached to next doors bathroom and as the roofs are made from bamboo you can hear everything that next door is doing and saying... Had a peak at the other private bungalows with their own pools and they look fantastic and if we weren't at the end of our year long travelling trip (budget running low) we would of stayed in one of those for sure (and maybe cared less about £1.50 bottles of water!) but despite that, highly recommend - heavenly!
