Stayed at the Koho Air for a week and loved it. Service was amazing - the staff goes out of their way to make sure you are happy. The hotel is super clean. Food is a 4/5 - menu could be more diverse especially the breakfast menu. Overall, I had a great stay and would return and recommend the hotel.

This is the pick of the places to stay on Gili Air. Whilst not a Balinese feel, more Mediterranean..
We moved hotels to stay here though.
Whilst we didn't quite fit the crowd (couples) as a family of 3 we still really enjoyed our stay.
Very close to the harbour and short walk to sunset views.
The breakfasts were freshly prepared and very tasty.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
If we ever go to Gili again we may look to stay here.
We fell in love with Koho. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom spacious. Both very clean. The grounds were very well maintained and the pool was perfect after a long day exploring the island. We loved the breakfast as it was made fresh and the choices were excellent. It was also very centrally located which made it easy to get around and get to and from the port. The staff were incredibly helpful (the guys at breakfast between the 19/12 - 23/12 were awesome).
The only thing I would say to improve would be to have a bigger drying rack for all the snorkelling /swimming stuff.
Bicycles to rent were good too

Location is absolutely perfect, it was super easy to walk our luggage from the Harbour. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The hotel is in a soft opening phase, which was actually fantastic because it was super quiet all the time (see photo below) and the staff knew our names and looked after us.

Short walk up the road from the harbor, just far enough to get away from the noise of it all, but close enough to walk back to catch your boat out without contributing to any harm of the island ponies. Believe me, we had a ton of big bags with us and managed them fine to this property on foot. The hotel grounds were so clean, the bedding was fabulous, the staff were so helpful and the breakfast was phenomenal. You will not regret staying here, such a lovely experience!
