“Consistently Good”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

I lived in Macau for 7 yrs then realized I had not posted a review for Fernando's (and a few other restaurants in Macau). I visited Fernando's this week a year after leaving Macau and although the prices are now higher than they used to be, the food is still as consistent along with the service. In all the times we went to Fernando's I can only think of one bad meal and that is in over 12 yrs. It is rustic but it is good. No credit cards only cash and sometimes you can make a reservation if your group is large enough but be on time as they will not keep the table forever, understandably so. Time is money.

“Hidden Gem”

This charming restaurant is a little out of the way, but completely worth the taxi ride. Great food, great atmosphere. The outdoor seating with bar is a great place to relax after the meal. I would definitely go back here again.

“Fantastic Fernando's”
Reviewed 27 July 2013

This restaurant on lively Hac Sa Beach is always a winner. Hearty Portuguese and Macanese fare and a great atmosphere is always guaranteed. The Portuguese cottage bread with olive oil
sets the scene and the pork ribs, fechoada, bacalao and sardines camnnoit be beat. Just arrive early or on time for both lunch and dinner as the restaurant is increasingly popular !

“Super yummy food!”
Reviewed 26 July 2013

It might be a little out of the way, as it's only a restaurant next to a beach... but it is worth going. Their food/menu, might be a little limited, but you won't regret it. It is only about $40 MOP taxi fare from Taipa Sheraton. On a nice day, it's really nice.. but if it's too hot in the summer, perhaps it might not be the most ideal place as there isn't any air conditioning... only fans. But all and all, very lovely restaurant. Always go back when I'm there. No reservations though, so best to try your luck and skip the busy lunch/dinner periods!
