Pizzeria Toscana was homey and old- fashioned basement restaurant with the best Italian pizza! We dined after a tourist walk around Macau. Evident was the Portuguese influence on the menu. I am glad that the menu was in English. It was a fusion of Italian flavor for the Asian taste for a reasonable price. We ordered Salmon Carpaccio, Pizza, Ravioli and Tiramisu. Everything tasted great! A place you can have a good conversation over a cup of coffee. Let me mention great service! The staff was accommodating, polite and friendly. It was a breaker after hefty Chinese cuisine during a weeks stay in China.

Look for the doorway opposite the Moorish Barracks, just up the hill from the A MA temple area. We enjoyed a fine lunch there, concentrating on pizza, but it was obvious we could have taken the pasta route. Service was subtle and good. We'll be back.

I remember the old Pizzeria near the ferry terminal. It was great to discover recently that it had moved to the "new" location some eight years ago. They have kept up and even improved on their old high standards. The menu is comprehensive and excellent value and the food delicious. The service from the Filipino staff is efficient and friendly. The ambience is delightful, with well spaced tables, and the place is maintained to an immaculate standard. It is a little off the beaten track (although directly opposite the Moorish Barracks, which is on every tourist map) but is well patronised by locals.

This is a great restaurant in Macau. Outstanding Italian cuisine. Great service. One of the best meals every had. Tricky to find from the rear car park entrance next to temple.

I stumbled upon this restaurant quite by accident one day while "power walking" around Macau. The Moorish Barracks was one of the last of the historic attractions that I had not seen (I live and work in Macau), and this restaurant is just across the street.

I have been to this restaurant about half a dozen times this year, and the food is incredible and affordable by Macau standards. It is situated on the basement level, has lovely ambiance, and I've tried many things on the menu, from home made ravioli to spicy spaghetti, seafood linguine, several of their thin crust pizzas as well as the air dried beef and an interesting t-bone steak cooked with lemon and garlic.

The staff is all from the Philippines, and so if you don't speak Cantonese it is no problem as they all speak English. The staff is friendly, efficient and extremely helpful.

The atmosphere is relaxed and romantic, and it is a great place for a dinner date for couples, families or just friends getting together to share a nice meal.
