The hotel is newly remodeled and looks great. The staff is very helpful. Our family enjoyed the options for breakfast and lunch. Each morning we came down to the lobby and ate and the staff was very welcoming. We had only one issue one night with a burger, VERY under cooked, it was taken back, over cooked and burned. We were unable to eat it. My daughter ate her fries only. Rooms are very clean and well equipped.
Stayed for two nights for a sporting event nearby and found the hotel very clean, room spacious with comfortable bed, and well apportioned bathroom (with shower over bath).
No kettle in room but coffee readily available in cafe beside reception - though it would have been nice to have been able to have a quick cuppa whilst getting ready for breakfast and last thing at night.
Whilst soy milk available no other vegan food in cafe/restaurant aside from fries and vegetarian options limited to 4-cheese pizza. Only toast available at breakfast for vegans with fruit/jam, vegetarians had scrambled egg, yoghurts and croissants to choose from too. Fresh fruit could have been better quality/a greater selection.
Another customer was told off for taking a croissant from the breakfast buffet out of the breakfast room - seemed an unnecessary scene, would having your croissant in your room be such a crime?
Do think making a ramp on part of the steps into the hotel would assist with bringing luggage in and out.
Barcelona is approx 45 mins by train - this hotel therefore a little out of the way for tourists to Barcelona- does have a business feel about it.
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful-from booking to arrival - and even when we left a backpack on departure in a taxi from the hotel to the train station they helped track it down and even arranged for the taxi company to bring it to us at the train station- certainly went beyond what they had to do and we are extremely grateful to them. Many thanks everyone.
Would certainly return to this hotel if participating in sporting event nearby.
Definitely a well used business hotel. The location and foyer made me question my choice but that changed when I got inside. The staff were very helpful and the floors with the rooms made me think I was in a different hotel. Rooms clean and the only area showing use was the desk and I had to look for that. The bed linen excellent and bathroom clean, There is a kettle (!) and the tea is excellent plus a real Catalan breakfast. Heating is a little hit and miss but acceptable.
Good business hotel, rooms are spacious. An comfortable cafe on the ground floor offers food till 11 pm, and drink till midnight. A healthy spread for breakfast.
The location is a bit out of the way though, no real shops nearby and a good 20 mins walk to La Ramblas.
This is an older hotel in Terrassa, about 40 minutes from city center Barcelona. Service is wonderful and the hotel is well kept. Bathrooms were plenty large with a tub and shower with a handheld. Water temp and pressure great. Hairdryer and bidet. Beds were comfortable with a large pillow. Could not get the air conditioner to cool the room so we opened the windows. The hotel is situated in a mixed commercial/residential area so heavily trafficked and can be noisy. Bring ear plugs and you will be fine. Staff was amazing.
