Nice and well run family hotel from walking distance from kos city centre. Consist of several buildings. My review is based living in the same building as restaurant is.

We have double room (apartment) with all the devices needed in kitchen (including coffee machine and kettler). Room was in excellent shape as all the areas I saw at the hotel. Complimentary toy for our kids was a great welcome when entering the room. Room was cleaned daily and they even washed our dishes, which was amazing. Internet to room cost extra (15 e week).

Enough to do for the kids at hotel. Nice and safe big playground. Two different play rooms and international kids club. Pool area is beautiful and clean, suitable for all ages. Atleast in may it was not busy there so it was simple great for sunbathing and swimming with the kids.

Restaurant was ok, we eat mostly lunch there and food was fresh and delicious. Service at the restaurant was somewhat pretentious but everything worked fine. At the dinner they have entertainment (BBQ , Greek evening etc) and both times we ate there we sat too close to the show and we could not speak with each other because it was too loud. I would prefer backgroup music during the dinner and show itself afterwards. So if you like to enjoy dinner with your company ask for table as long as possible from the show. It was pretty annoying that waiters started to "sell" special show always the day before. After we have booked our Greek evening same waiter tried to sell it again to about 10 times. Once there were 5 minutes between so that guy had the shortest memory.

Location of the hotel is great. Walking distance from Kos centrum. You can find good authentic greek tavernas nearby. Beach is either so long away but beach near the hotel is not so nice, so maybe not the best option locationwise is you love beaches.

There is a small gym which good rower, bike and treadmill. Some other tools as well but they were pretty useless. Beach Volley and tennis aswell and they looked great.

Peridis family resort is a great hotel for families and people who appreciates location and clean hotel areas.

Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast with most of the things you want. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pools was big and clean, it were enough sunbeds but as many other hotels it is a problem with people not respecting the "do not lay out towels if you are not there". This is not the hotels foult but people that think only on themselves. The hotel is around 10-15 min from the centre of Kos/beach. This is a family hotel and there are alot of activites if you want to participate. I did not very much enjoy when the entertaiment did spirit drinks when children are around.
Overall a very nice hotel!

We stayed here as a new family of 3 (our daughter was 6 months at time of travel) so were slightly nervous about amenities and options for families travelling with very little infants. We needn’t have worried - the apartment was located in a quiet location but still not far from Kos Town (we walked in most days). Our room was equipped with a high chair and cot and we saw that buggies could be hired at a nominal daily charge if we needed.

The staff were all lovely and helpful and the breakfast and snacks (can’t speak for lunch and dinner as we didn’t eat then) were freshly prepared and generous in option and size.

We had to pay an extra €5 a day for air con but this was well worth the price as it meant our baby wasn’t too hot for napping during the day. Shutters provided additional darkness and the doors are double glazed so you really can’t hear anything from inside.

The cleaners were excellent and always made our bed and changed our towels if needed and there is a great supermarket located about 100 yards away which had a range of food and drink and a reasonable price. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the pools and loungers weren’t overcrowded at any part of the day.

Only tiny niggle was there was a bit of a hard sell for some evenings entertainment which we understood but still felt a bit of pressure to go to. We tried the Greek night one night but our daughter decided it wasn’t for her just as we got her food (food was ok but very heavy on the meat, would have liked to have seen more fish) so took the food back to our room which the staff were keen to help us with!

Would definitely recommend this to anyone travelling with a family, we had a lovely holiday!

Stayed for 5 nights and travelled independently. Hotel doesn't appear to be used by British travel operators (no bad thing), so consequentely UK residents in a minority of a handful.
Pool area very nice, rooms as pictured and very clean, good breakfast selection - all the usual. Excellent staff around the pool especially Ali. Walking distance to centre of Kos town although pavements commonly obstructed so you need to be alive to walking in the road! Not an awful lot in the immediate area of hotel, shop and 1/2 taverners close for the rest you need to go to Kos.

Heres the considerations: the rooms are in separate blocks across a busy street - would not be good for kids nipping back to room on their own if you are across the street. Busy area of town plenty of street noise - didn't keep me awake but partner used ear plugs. Pool area is lovely and well kept however the umbrellas cannot be lowered and those wanting full sun have to move which will be a problem in peak season! We had the Greek banquet one night at 16euro - food was nice but many items were cold which spoilt it. The food warmers are not up to it. You can spend less money in most restaurants and get same quality served hot so its convienient but not great value.

Room Tip: main block - in pool complex avoids the roads!

Stayed at the Peridis Family Resort for one week and have to say it was lovely
We booked flights & hotel separately as we couldn't find a package that offered the accommodation that we liked along with favourable flight times but we were very happy with our choice.

We stayed in a two bed apartment which was in the same building as the reception area. The block is modern bright and clean and check in was quick and simple.
The room had two large twin bedrooms, a family bathroom with shower over the bath and kitchen dining area. It was bright and nicely furnished with good built in wardrobes in both bed rooms along with dressing tables and tv's. The room and hotel was immaculately clean with plenty of towels face cloths and toiletries. You can purchase internet connection for your room for €15 for the week but there is free WIFI around the pool and restaurant. Air conditioning is also an extra €5 per day but they were good units and we definitely needed them! Beds were very comfortable and our room had access to two balconies as we had a corner room but all the rooms appeared to have nice balconies.

The room had a fridge and kitchenette along with tea and coffee making facilities with everything you needed to self cater. There is a supermarket directly behind that was very well stocked.
We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis and there was a good selection of food available including eggs, bacon, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruits, juices, pancakes and omelettes. They are pre cooked and kept hot but were lovely !
Lunch is also available and reasonably priced and you can eat in the evening €16 but there is plenty of choice!

The pool area is really nice, the main one is deep and tends to be used by adults but there is another pool just behind that is shallower and suitable for younger children. There was a real mix of people staying there from young to old and they seemed to have thought of everyone's needs. Plenty of sun-beds are available we never struggled to find 3 together. The hotel provides pool towels which can be collected and refreshed daily in the reception area. The restaurant offers a lunch and dinner menu but there are so many lovely restaurants in Kos Town it would be a shame not to try them but they do offer a couple of theme nights which were €16 per person, the food was really nice and there was plenty of choice and we enjoyed the entertainment.
The bar stays open till 1am so it's nice to come back after eating in town and have more drinks.
Special mention has to be for Ali who works in the restaurant and bar. He works tirelessly to make the guests feel special ! He was very helpful and funny and really made our stay special !

There is an adults only area on the first floor of the building with nice day bed style loungers and a jacuzzi but you need to call down using a phone to order drinks from the bar but still a nice quiet area tastefully furnished. There is a gym but only looked through the window and spa which to be honest unless you look for them the don't seem really to push the service. If your room is able you can arrange a late check out for €40 keeping the room till 6pm alternatively there is a really nice shower room you can use.

As for Kos town itself it's an easy 10 minute walk from the hotel into the heart of the old town. There are various routes the scenic one takes you along the front and to the main harbour where the boats are plying for your trade for excursions or the not so scenic but quicker route where you arrive directly in the heart of the main old square where you can sit in one of the many bars or restaurants and people watch. As you wonder away from the square there are lots of smaller streets with shops, bars and more restaurants some of which sit right next to archeological sites !

I would definitely recommend the Peridis Family Resort, it offers its guests of all ages everything they need. It is a well run clean modern hotel with spacious rooms and all the amenities you would need and it's location is within easy access of Kos town and site seeing around the island.
