6 of us stopped in Altea for a 30th birthday weekend away for 2 nights of the Spanish nightlife. Our first night was visiting the old town square, where this restaurant is located, as it came recommended as a must see. After walking round the square, taking in the stunning panoramic views of Altea, enjoying the information boards dotted around and the lovely old architecture, we decided to eat. We came to this restaurant and didn't look back! The setting is lovely with inside and outside seating area's. The menu is quite extensive with lots of variety, and to us who had never visited Spain before, our waiter was perfect in explaining the menu, helping us choose our meals, recommending various drinks that we wanted (he spoke some English but was patient and between us all we worked it out fine) and, as it was 6 girls, very good at putting up with us raucous lot! As the evening went on and the temperature dropped, we were given blankets to cuddle warm into which was a lovely touch. The prices of the food and drinks was very reasonable, and we enjoyed the place so much that on the Sunday before we left Spain, we went back for another couple of drinks. I can't fault this restaurant, it was lovely. Very clean, delicious food, perfect service and a reasonable cost. I recommend the visit if you are in the area... frankly all 6 of us do!
